yes, i made an xbox iso with the regular iso, and then ftp'd it to my xbox and put it in the e:/games folder, unfortunately there was no e:/apps folder so i made one making it E:/Apps like the other folders and dvd2xbox still does not show up. the only other thing i can think of to try is to make it E:/Applications, if that ends up doing the trick i will post it *EDIT* Making it E:/Applications still didn't help, And i'm running out of ideas
That link is for the source code, not the compiled and ready to use dvd2xbox. You have to get dvd2xbox off xbins. Also, all dashboards look in the e:/apps and f:/apps (if it's there) folders by default. So don't worry about the folder name, since that's what it's supposed to be. On a side note, if you use Avalaunch you can have it download and install dvd2xbox and XBMC for you. Not to mention it allows for the fastest and most reliable transfers using Quix.
how and where do you go to get avalaunch and i'm using this program cause my ms dash i deleted with a error 21 code would this work if i use it?
If you have a way of loading Avalaunch onto your Xbox hard drive, then yes it would work just fine. You can get it off Xbins as well as pretty much every other worthwhile Xbox application.
but thats the thing i know nothing about avalaunch is there a way i can im u so i can talk 2 u about this
Just PM me if you like. Or create a new thread so everyone else can help you as well. Since the original poster's question has been answered, it's probably best not to hi jack this thread.
