I think it is an excellent program. It's really intersting to see what other places in the world look like.

I just love google earth, and ever since i "found" a plus registration key, it's even better, it can zoom in a bit further without blurring, and it has some of the places that aren't totally covered in the shareware version. I've been able to find all the places i've lived around the globe, and i've managed to find all of my favorite skatespots on it as well *i know, not very interesting to you people, but i'm just a big kid at heart :) *

I am thinking whether or not to upgrade to PLUS. You say that PLUS has more features than the standard version. I was looking at the PRO version and it looks stunning. Just take a look at this pic.

If they can do this on every place on earth then I would seriously consider buying the PRO version. It costs $400 but i'm not sure whether it's sold for personal use.

Can Google find out if you are running the Pro version if you haven't paid for it. Isn't it designed for Business use only. When you choose to go to a location are you using the Google satelite in space.

I had to check this thing out. Although it is pretty cool and disturbing, I noticed that the images I saw of my house have to be at least a year old. Anyway to get updated?

@ Weazel200: if properly cracked, they won't notice a thing.
@ Ustop : half the European continent and loads of us territorys aren't properly mapped yet, and most of the Photo's are over a year in age. since this is an "under construction" program, i suspect the updates will yield newer images and will hopefully map the entire globe

What do you mean by "Properly Cracked". Entering a key?

So do you have a copy of the Pro version. If so, what's it like. By the screenshots it looks 100x better than the standard version

I downloaded Google Earth 2 days ago. The program is ok but some places that you want to go are blury. My friend tried to look for his house but he couldnt see it well cause of the low quality.

@ weazel200 : I had it, dumped it again almost as quickly as i got it, it's barely any better than the normal version, a little more detail, but nowhere near the detail on that pick you posted. (in case you hadn't noticed, that picture you posted was severely "enhanced" for promotional purposes)
