@ALBundy Yeah....that's the one I tried to DL from;; and I didn't get a very good speed; so, if you'd be so kind to tell me what DL speed YOU're getting off of that torrent; because mine is horrible; the highest speed I'll get is like 1.0 kb/s ; and i'm on 512k ADSL:l that way i'll know if that's just a slow working torrent, or there's something wrong with my computer's settings... @auslander Sorry; I misunderstood...
AlBundy: if you check the info on m'link, you'll see that download is Mojo's p-cut, and while it's good, it's not of the same quality as the ultimate edition, which i am still trying to locate.
As much as i hate to do this, i have reported the direct torrent links posted here to the mods, since linking to "pirated material" is against forum rules. As for the threads original question, i have a VHS copy of the producer's cut, and several different versions as well *some missing some gore, others missing btits of dialogue*.
@The_Fiend You have a VHS copy--cool; but I was wondering since you said you also have varying versions; do any of those happen to be on DVD?
my link was only a forum with info on the various versions, so i don't think it needs to be edited. but correct me if i'm wrong, ddp... ^.^
@albundy Hey Man!!! I just tried that bitsoup one;; and discovered my settings in utorrent were wrong!! This one IS dl'ing fast!! Thanx for the info!!! YES!!! I AM VERY GRATEFUL TO YOU FOR TELLING ME TO USE THAT ONE AGAIN!!!!!
ack, i came in this morning to find the thread has gone way past sensible.. i should've realised it would turn into a a link-fest come on people, finish editing those links, i've only just got into work
the p-cut has found it's way into my dvd collection. while the editing is piss-poor, i do find that the missing scenes have really added to the movie. i hope that a real release with this long forgotten footage is made available for legal purchase one day.
ahhh yes, ....so it seems as though you have the same copy I do then..... ...because the editing on the copy I obtained is of poor editing too....[i.e. the 'deleted scenes' look as if they were ripped from a vhs tape....] ...also; I do agree with you; and that I also hope one day they'll release a retail version of this movie, because it adds so much more to the Halloween series and makes you wonder actually how this movie would have changed the sequels after it...[if at all...] Halen5150
