Hehe, The thing that gets me is the totaly random nature of the failure. BTW, anyone here know the power limit of USB 2.0 these days? I bought a cooling plate for my laptop not long before it first failed. It draws 300MA, and i believe my ADSL modem draws up to 500MA (according to windows)and my mouse takes 45MA.
Update time boys and girls After almost a freak'n month I call these guys up and ask what's the status of my notebook, (I'll give the short version) well they say that the mother board has to be replaced and that it is on back order....WTF back oreder? I tell them that they had my notebook for a month and I did not receive a phone call, email or even a damn letter. All they could say was oh sorry blah blah blah. So I said "You know what, give me money back" and guess what...BAM! it will be shipped with in afew days. I have received my notebook and all is working pretty good so far but I don't feel the same way about my notebook anymore as I feel it has been molested, boohoo. plus im worried if I run it the way I usually do, it will brake again updated completed.
thanks a ton -ddp- with helping me in the PM's with this problem, and also in the regular forums. Your help is greatfully appreciated! See you with the next -STAR- problem.
