help !!!!!! i cant format my hd

Take backup by putting another harddisk or something and do this:

1) If you have a win98 Boot up disk then start your computer wit it.
2) Type debug then type the following:

-F 200 L1000 0 <enter>
-A CS:100 <enter>
xxxx:0100 MOV AX,301 <enter>
xxxx:0103 MOV BX,200 <enter>
xxxx:0106 MOV CX,1 <enter>
xxxx:0109 MOV DX,80 <enter>
(80 for hd 0 or 81 for hd 1 )
xxxx:010C INT 13 <enter>
xxxx:010E INT 20 <enter>
xxxx:0110 <enter>
-g <enter>
It will say Program terminated normally
-q<enter>

 

hey god news i did it the problem was the hd dont no what happen but on the partitons show 2 the first was o bytes so the windows cant install but the comp never says tha and the 2nd was 19000 or some thing like that but the point was the partition was for the whole hd so the windows no install so the comp whet in trouble and confused thats why restart but i partitioned for 1000 bytes and the windows start runing good ofcourse i have to re install windows but no is working i was so simple but well i am a newbie but thx so much guys for the help i really apresiet for the help u guys are amezing given al information thx very much howwwwwww !!!!!!!!! thx again !!!!!!

You are welcome, elpitote. One quesiton, though. How were you able to partition the hard drive so you can install XP? Did you use a boot disk and fdisk to do it?

i dont know but in some point before the comp shout down i prees another option no to save i tink was to check partitions or something like that dont know exactly but then a delete al partitions and make a new partition but i dont know how lucky
