    the cd rom says hl-dt-st cd-rom gcr-8483B and the dvd writer says tsst corp cd/dvdw ts-h552b. don't know if that's the information you're looking for.

    Your cd/dvdw ts-h552b is made by Samsung

    And your hl-dt-st cd-rom gcr-8483B is made by Dell which is probably a generic make.

    try using your cd/dvdw ts-h552b to copy and burn the image.

    tried ripping from both and results are the same.
