HELP WITH XBOX HARDDRIVE

you need to get an original hard drive that is unlocked and you will be good to go

 

sounds good how do you know it is or make it unlocked?my hd id shlt too and I would like to mod (chip if easy ) or at least put in new hd to make it work.CAn i use hd out of my old comp?
it is western dig and same conections.I really miss fam time with it.
I can buy a xbox that was modded chip and 200g hd but it no powers up is it good to rob parts to mine or why no power up? Iknow the rest of xbox is fine just hd says error 07.

 

if you chip you box that will solve your probs and you wont have to get a new hard drive

 

but hd is dead so if i chip it i can use old hd from comp?

so to chip it is just push in a new chip from under the dvd drive?and where do I get one and how much ish coul dit be?

wow 40 bucks.... hmmm... i dunno but i was wondering why does the map i modded say "you failed to load the map?" dont think im retarted i did reisign it but nothing i try is working i even bought this book Halo 2 Hacks, and it doesnt help except it says i need to open the mainmenu.map and do something but when i try to open it with any program, it says cannot read to end of stream or something.... help?

so is this ur first mod uve even tried to put on a map..b/c wen u put more than one by accident u can mess up ur map. did u use a ppf? if u did make sure u put the ppf w/ the right map that its supposed to go w/
