permiggs, I feel for you about those firearms laws. They were very bad when i was there. My home defense weapon when i lived there was a 150lb crossbow, and a machette, with a boot knife as backup. That crossbow bolt would go straight thru a solid wood door. I lived in a sort of rough neighborhood. Not all of the UK was/is like that. Had a 5 cell metal flashlight that came in handy for more than light on a few occasions.. Here in the US, i've got lots of guns. Probably enough for a swat team attack if i were in the UK. Here its all legal. I used to be a firearms instructor, handguns, rifles, shotguns, and shot pistol and rifle competition. Don't shoot much anymore. I'll let killer kitty handle the CMCs with his AK.
I like long walks on the beach, with the sunset on the horizon and the gentle sounds of the oceans waves crashing at my feet. I also like clubbing baby seals, burning bags of poo on ppls front door step and ripping the labels off mattresses.

Permiggs, i keep hearing that, i find it amusing that even though there only a few measily miles between Holland and the UK, thte laws on firearms are complete opposites.
