How many gigs on harddrive? Hmmmmmm....Do I include all pc's in the house or just mine? My desktop pc (home built) has 3 drives 360gigs total, my laptop has 60gigs, my wife's laptop has 60 gigs, my daughters laptop has 40 gigs, my kitchen desktop pc has 2x40=80 gigs, my utility room pc has 2x20=40gigs,(old home built unit). Now, do I include my USB drives, one is 80gigs and an old 1.1usb at 30gigs. I have 5 daughters, hellofalot of IM'ing going on, hehe. Crap, no wonder I can't keep up with my mp3's.
I think my sig is up-to-date: 1.2TB (actual) of hd space on this machine (like 4% free) + 1G RAM, & a 250 (nominal) in my spare system w/.5G RAM. The RAID is full, and so are all the drive bays, except 1 external 5.25".
In my primary computer I have one (1) 80GB for OS and programs. The slave on that IDE channel one is a single 300GB Maxtor with 16MB of cache. On my third IDE channel I have two (2) 300GB Maxtors with 16MB of cache on each. I also have two (2) 200GB Seagate HD contected to my computer via USB 2.0. All total I have 1380GB's of Hard Drive space. Note: On IDE 2, I have a DVD Burner and a DVD-ROM connected and I also have two Plextor PX-716SA (Serial ATA) DVD burners connected via the SATA interface on my motherboard

first of all, what the hell is a terabyte? i only have 70 gb, but i'm only using 10gb of that, i'm a real newbie, what do i need all this space for?????
well, a terabyte is 1,000 gigs, and u need the space for bragging rights! Duh. Not really. I am always copying dvds for watching later on my pc. Kids get em and I can't find the damn things when I'm ready to watch em. Use DVD Decryptor. Then i dump em.
