Electric Super Car Tops 180 MPH
    Topic: New Vehicles
Would you believe an emission free car that can blows away almost every vehicle the road? That's the claim from Hybrid Technologies, which says it will soon start selling the Lithium Carbon Fiber Super Car.

The vehicle uses lithium batteries and will reach 180 mph, and go 0 to 60 mph in just over 3 seconds, according to the Hybrid Technologies, which is building the car in partnership with exotic sports car maker Mullen Motors.

But something doesn't add up. If it is truly emission free, then it should be powered by a fuel cell vehicle and not an ICE. But a sporty fuel cell vehicle with lithium batteries for $124,900 would be quite the bargain.

More details will be available when the car debuts at the NY International Auto Show in April.

My mate has an R-Type Honda civic, goes quite well! LOL! I want to get an Audi next, an A4 or A6 avant 2.5TDi.

    I was paying £200 a year for my GSX-R 750!

since this thread is about cars and customization and whatnot, i have a question: does anyone know of a place online where i could find either a keypad ignition device or device that allows me to rotate license plates on the fly? while i'm at it, anyone know of any cb radio antennas that can be concealed and still get good range? like a large wire ran around the trunk or something, instead of a several-foot-tall wire off the top of my car?

My first car was a black 1986 Toyota Corolla, two doors, 1.6lt. four and automatic transmission.

My second, and current car is a white 1994 Mitsubish Galant LS with 2.4lt four, full power, electric sunroof, heated driver seat and the only things I moded were the pedals and added a few gauges.

I bought a 12.1" roofmount lcd monitor and a car CD,DVD, VCD, CD-MP3 unit new for $300 bucks, but I will save it for my next ride. I should be buying it in a few months, can't decide if I want a Scion Xb or a new Honda Civic Sedan.

My first car was a 1981 Mercury Cougar. My Father bought it for me for Christmas in 1997... for $100!!!

Then it broke down.... a lot. All the time.

@Ireland, How in Gods name do you know so much? Are you really a fountian of knowledge, or just a Master Googler? JK. I always enjoy your posts.

xboxdvl2: it's all so that i can....hmm...let's say, "transport goods more efficiently without the consequence of police intervention at my homestead." :D being able to quickly change your license plates on the fly would be quite effective with all sorts of information collecting and evasive driving.

I miss my old rig. I used to have a 85 Monte Carlo. I rigged it with everything. 350 four bolt main truck engine straight from the bone yard. I put aluminum heads, intake, supercharger, 75 lb nitrous shot. Double 4 barrel 850 cfm hollies on it. Posy Rear. Forgot the gear ratio I went with. And ladder bars to keep it on the road. It also had a four speed automatic with hurst shifter and shift kit. It had so much juice it would look just like the black rig in too fast too furious. Right at the end where he dropped the hammer and it popped a wheelie. Well this rig could do the same. Brings tears to my eyes every time I see that scene. Cause my fiance ran off with another guy, my monte, and a another guy when I did a stint in jail.

Boy I missed that car. Spent 200 usd for the car...another 5000 grand in parts and many many hours tweaking it. Fastest car in Ohio when I lived there. Boy I miss it. All was left was a paint job and some body work. No ever beat me at drag races either. I would give my left nut and sell my soul to have it back.

That car brought so much meaning into my life and it has never been the same even after I moved on. Now I drive a piece of shit buick skylark with a 2.3 quad four that will hold bout a 100 mph stock. I put two engines myself in the last year and a half. Damn junk..:>

Sorry to hijack the thread, but my point is. It may not seem much, but given time and work you will soemday have a sweet rig that will blow everyones mind. I did....:>
