    Michigan,

    To answer your questions -

    Checking his burn log -

It doesn't appear he has an ASPI layer issue but I did note poor media (Ritek G05) and not much in the way of data transfer. :(

As I mentioned, it seems, at least on this log, that not much is transpiring with this media. I would like to see him try some Ritek G04 media or some Verbatim "DataLife" tried to see how a proper grade media fares -

It was my impression that everything seemed to be fine with DVD Shrink until he tried to burn with Nero, then the burned failed - If Nero was unable to pickup the Data from DVD Shrink there's not too much of a burn that's going to happen, yes ?

Upon re-reading his post, it does not address his XCopy proggy or his attempt to use that. Did he ever use it ? What were the results ?

Lastly, as to DVDCopy2, I found the quality the equal or slightly better than DVD Shrink 3.2.68. DVDCopy2 requires a ripper and I suggest DVD Decrypter. I found that even using that as opposed to AnyDVD or Region Free the speed was faster than the DVD Shrink / Nero combo.
Speaking of burners, I like using the new DVD Shrink with CopyToDVD, a better combo than using DVD Shrink with either Nero or DVD Decrypter.

And Yes, I liked it so much I bought it :)

    cheers,

    Pete
