    Hi, if you want a reliable and useful speed tester use the one from Beltronica. OK the English could be better BUT it will send you an up and down report to your email address that you can forward to your ISP that cannot be argued with. It gives the whole bit, Address, time, evrything. My ISP, france telecom is not amused. In fact they are well pxxxed of they cannot refute this!!

    hmmmm... I'll give it a try and see If I get an improvement from before. It's been a while since I checked my connection speed :)

    according to Mcfee my connection is faster than expected.it said 28.64kbs.thats alot faster than what my computer says it says connected at 115200bps.its ok for dial up but im getting a 56k modem soon.if i dont get my 56k modem i will be very angry at my brother cause hes suppose to be giving me one.

    why bother messing around with dial-up. If you are upgrading, you should upgrade to broadband.

    I did the New York (closest to Montreal) and got Download Speed: 2409 kbps (301.1 KB/sec transfer rate), Upload Speed: 620 kbps (77.5 KB/sec transfer rate).

    i put a 56k modem in my computer yesturday installed it fine.when i went to dial it couldnt get a dial tone.cant understand it so i just put the old modem back in.maybe the modem was damaged or something not sure.

    All of your connection speeds are alright mine is 54mb (megabytes, I dont know how much kb/s that is. It's because I'm American). I had dial-up but then changed to broadband.
