Is it the DVD, or my Burner

Maybe windows sees it as a CD drive then it should say "CD Drive (letter". You got to have one.

 

Lol, for pete's sake just pick the slowest speed and burn it already!
Always, ALWAYS burn at either 2x/2.4x/4x speed, never any faster.
You'll get less coasters, and more intact and readable sectors. That goes for burning anything, not just video.

Btw, you actually don't need to download the standalone Img Burn software as DVDFlick comes with Img Burn's ROM built in and can burn discs on it's own.

Just go Project Settings> "Burning" Tab> Tick "Burn Project to Disc"> Select the Recorder you want to use and give the DVD a label. Done.

I also recommend you check "Create ISO Image", it'll give you a more compatible movie.

 

Really? Here's a TYG02 (8X -R) burned at 12X in my Pioneer 115D. The quality scan was done in my BenQ.



I think I'll stick to burning at a speed which produces good burns, not some arbitrary number like 4X. This is 2008 man.

But I didn't just pull these rules out of my ass so to speak, it's a general rule of thumb that you should always burn at half the rated speed of a disc. Eg: 4x-8x Currently..

lol ok, so I have already made the dvd in DVD Flick, I wasnt sure what DVD Flick would use to burn the movie, so I diddnt tick that the burn project, and now im trying to figure out how to get the audio and Video Folders on to my DVD, IDK why im making this so complicated

 

load files back i spose and click create dvd? i use imgburn so not sure

 

I am using ImgBurn to, I'm just trying to figure out how to get the audio_ts folder or/we and the video folder on to my dvd in imgburn

ok i did that, then it told me that test mode wasnt supported and data was going to be wrote on the disc, so i canceled it, should I have just said yes?

 

probably yes but are you useing a RW disc?

 

No, I am not, but I think Im just gonna have DVD Flick make new files for me, and I'll use the burn project option, just be safe

Arrr...You don't need to do that, recreate the DVD with Flick.just use ImgBurn to burn the Video_TS folder in build mode. The Audio_TS is there just for looks, is empty, don't worry about it.
