Time to lay the smack down.. :)

People are just downright disrespectful. It's mainly OK in the forums I hang out in, but in the games forum, they only respect moderators, but really, you should respect everyone. There are plenty in there that deserve a banning. Unfortunatelyou more or less need one moderator per thread with everything that goes on in there!

Too much hydro, need some jammer... LoL ;^)
But seriously, you're right! I know what you mean, it becomes a tiring chore because you share the answers (laboriously typing them out) and then, tomorrow someone will ask the same thing again, and again - it will never end; there is no 'victory' y'know?
It's bloody endless... (Homie don't play that.)

I find that people are getting more demanding & impatient, also many will ask a question without doing ANY research at all, anywhere. Then they will not try anything. I recently read a post where someone had bought AnyDvd & CloneDvd, then asked what it did & how to use it!

Makes me want to pull the rest of my hair out. They put no effort in & want it all spoon fed.

    [bold]Never gonna happen..[/bold]

Not only that, the shoutboxes are becoming mini forums, the recipients just seem to encourage it & answer the questions. AARRGGHHH!!!

[bold]Certain members are worse than others, they all know who they are......[/bold]

Hence my frustration & lack of recent posts.

    ireland, I couldn't agree more.

Probably not, he's a busy man. But maybe somebody should/could make a suggestion in the feedback forum.

I agree. Through no fault of the current moderators, there is still a lot of immature behaviour that is allowed to slide. This is because there are less than a handful of active moderators, and 85 or more very active (sometimes hyperactive) forums. If we were to get a couple of new mods in, then they'd have to be firm & fair, just like the current moderators :)

Indeed. It is a great shame to lose members and friends.

First off let me say that I have been one of the many who had the enviable distinction of being the recipient of Glitched's indiscretions so I am hard pressed to be sympathetic about his AD demise. I don't want to be seem vindictive, but certainly his contribution to AD pales in comparison to those of Gear79 & Jeanc1 both of whom I'll miss. With regards to the latter two persons, I do believe that sentiment is widely shared at AD. As for Danny G, I fully understand your position. Just don't let someone else's indiscretion deny you the opportunity to engage in something which you once liked. Pulsar hit the nail on the head with his comment and though the reward is next to nil most of the time, there is still that one person who is genuinely grateful for your assistance who makes it worth it(well......at least to some extent).
