    @ MaxBurn
    Like you said you just can't help some people no matter how hard you try. The bad thing is that he seems impervious to all the many "subtle" hints about what he's doing, *sigh*(shaking my head)

    was problably trying to get back at me for saying he has to be spoon fed in how to do things. but after reading all his posts & pm's to me, spoon fed it is whether he likes it or not.

    Well if members follow the forum rules and treat people as they would want to be treated then that shouldn't be a problem.

    Time will tell!

    you were treated fairly as you made to senior. i never mentioned your name directly til you posted that you are not spoon fed. anybody who knows somewhat of computers & read all your posts & our replies to your problems would see that you have to be spoon fed the info you are looking for. i've seen you post at least an hr or 2 after you did a post about a problem & state "anybody???". what does that show to other members. the only reason you were senior was because of all the posts of your problems. when the karma system kicks in, your karma won't be very high or none existant compared to other members of your level because you don't have knowledge or intuition. you have to help yourself before you can help others. in my 16 months here, i've maybe started 6 threads & that is because i try to figure out the problem or search other sources including friends.

    I have had my moments here too, but Neph always kicked me in the rear
    (When I needed it.) But believe the Mods here are fair and genuine.
    Its not the Mod's fault the Member can't follow simple rules.
    Just my two cents!!

    I have only started 4 or 5 threads, most of them were in the safety valve too. I'm a great believer in jumping in with both feet & try everything before I ask.

    Yeah but Pulsar, you have a shiny metal hienie to land on just in case :p I totally share your sentiment. Between AD,Google, etc there's usually an answer there somewhere if someone cares to expend the time & effort.

    I am naturally inquisitive anyway. A reformat, if it all goes wrong, only takes a couple of hours!

    @toyotaman/ozzymary
    listen to ddp there. I think i only started one thread
    http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/234049
    here, and the rest i jumped in to help or comment.
    That should be the key, here, how much do we help others? Not how many post do you get. How often is a post an attempt to help someone? If that ratio is high, then you will probably have the respect of your AD peers, no matter what title is under your name. Thunder came down and struck, and it wasnt like you were not warned, or didnt see it coming. As in a PC game, your character got killed off for doing something against the rules, and dumb. You yourself didnt die, so its time to learn from the experiance, get over it, and start helping others. Thats the only real way to recover from such things.
    If you cant get over it, you may as well give up now and quit. Im not trying to be harsh, just trying to give you some friendly advice.
    Help others, where ever you can. Pick the easy ones like DVD+R for newbies. Some of the answers may be easy to you, but to the poster, they have no clue. You might even get to where you LIKE helping ppl.
