Kind of a newbi question about gcc (I think)

Should I be able to get these dependencies in synaptic or should I look somewhere else. I tried searching G++ in synaptic but I didn't really know if any of the stuff was useful or not. All the stuff that was not installed looked like older versions of stuff I already have installed.


I also tried reading the man page for G++. I haven't found any thing to help yet but I'll keep reading.
