the only problem i have with that is my kids get up early and some times put telly onbefore i get down and all the adult channels have comeback so i only do the standby when i know i will be about to delete them again
you can turn that feature off in the settings just remember if you do and they move some channles you will not have them and have to either rescan the box or re-enable the setting and leave the box off for 40 mins on standby why not put a pin number on the adult channels that will stop that problem
i was thinking about doing that but i do like deleting a lot of channels so my menu dont have lots to look through like the qvc channels etc
just put a pin on them 3 and move the channels that you want erased to the end of the list if its possible to edit and do that!
nope its not you cannot edit the channels unless you make a favorit list as the box uses the same numbers as a subbed box
down to either a bad flash you done the first time or else you scanned the channels and then flashed the box either or but defo not down to the new flash you done or as i have just found out you had a v+ box as well so your cable was split or you had it connected thru your subbed box
well thats true but after nearly 40pm to me and not getting the correct info and straight answers and what should have taken no more than 15 mins from start to finish took a hell of a lot longer
well guys put box on this morning and it went straight to the installation page and front of box showed 00.00 any advice guys
I can only assume that you may have a faulty box, it sounds like it is sort of forgetting its settings and factory resetting. The only thing i can suggest is flashing but seems like you have tried this enough times. If in system information it is dated 18/06/2010 and the software version is pv3.4.00, then all should be well. I have not come across this problem as yet but if i do i will let you know, I am more of a starview man and am just getting used to the Kryptview myself.
thats suspicious alright and you are in a catch 22 situation cos of the 3 channels you cant leave it on standby overnight
thinking you are on a different post here hooter lol as the last post is from menzone going on about his box again but have to say we are not getting the whole story about this box here thats for defo as now i have discovered he has a starview box + virgin box +the A780 all on te same cable so we are actually getting the run about from this guy so i will not be replying to any more of his posts if the guy had come clean the first time and also looked at the tutorial his box would be up and running no probs within 15 mins this is now going on the best of 3 days now and i have not seen another post anywhere with the same problem so i defo think this is down to user error
well i dont not have the virgin box connected and yes i do have the starview box connected which is upstairs in the bedroom.
