Tv3 has moved freq do a full default and a new scan and it will come back in no probs

 

ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS FOLLOW THIS AND YOU WILL SEE HOW EASE IT IS TO SCAN YOUR BOX





















after you see this screen you will get another with a list of areas choose legacy channels from
the top then press ok let the box do the rest thats it

 

Just better off buying the real box at this stage lads...iv held out long enough and think its time

 

found tv3 its where nick junior was cannot find nick junior kids r wrecking me head !

 

ps tv 3 is on chanel 0607 no if any body knows what chanel nick junior is please pm me or post it please

 

they have moved em about,

Nick Jr is on 315.00 freq. I had to remove TV3 last night and it came in on 307.00 freq on nthell

There is another chan VIVA on feq 363500

I set up my favourites fine had everything the way i wanted it,
put the box in standby last night and when i switched on this morning all my favourites had gone and all the favourites had defaulted back as in FAV A B C etc any ideas guys

 

yep, you need to turn the powerscan feature off on the box, this is done via the menu, on standby, the box will scan the networks and move chans back to where they are in the line up,

Lads,I was missing TV3 so I followed tyhe advice on the last page and did a factory reset and then another scan but I seem to have lost all chanels now ,the box has a -7U- message on the display--any ideas?

 

Just turn the box off at the back then back on then follow the instructions making sure to leave the network alone just press the green button.

 

Do I need to re-flash after doing a factory reset?

 

Once you flash your box no matter how many times you do a factory default you dont have to flash the box again.

Unless there is new software out for the unit otherwise leave it alone flash wise

 

e45--I tried turning the box off at the back but it just brings me back to the easy installation menu,I tried the automatic searchfrom that menu and it only adds 6 to the TP list where I was getting around 15,when I exit after the scan it just goes back to the easy installation menu again

Have you followed the tutorial a lit bit back, when you get to easy installation choose the bottom option, then make sure you have N** or Ch**** on the top option do not change any of the other settings,then just press the green button, the next screen you get is the options pick legacy channels or your nearest option for Ch****.

Then press ok and just leave the box to tune in the channels.

As i dont know what provider you are with thats as much as i can tell you

Setanta Ireland was down for me earlier, same way as tv3 was earlier in the week. Took a full rescan to get it back in case anyone else has similar problem.

 

Thanks for that e45,I was out for while sorry bout delay,I'm with N*L,tried what you put in your last post and still not getting all TP's,I'm missin BBC1/2 and a good few others.

 

Ok tell me exactly you are doing when trying to do the scan go from start to finish from the moment of going from easy installation forward

dont miss any parts you change

and are you in the uk or Irl

 

From the easy installation menu I was going to automatic scan and pressing the green button,it would just come up with 6 TP's and no channels,i tried this a few times and no joy,eventually the way I got it sorted was to go to the installation menu,manual scan,leave the network on N*L,changed the channel setting from 1 to 2 to 3 etc all the way up to 7 and do an automatic scan on each (with all selected in the channel search type)this brought up 19 TP's and all the channels aswell including TV3 which was my original problem,
head wrecker but at least it's working now,thanks a lot for your help.
