dreambox is open sourced as many different groups can do a fix with a different image,blade box is closed as only the fix can come from the makers of that box,same as starview only do some fixes for their boxes ,and kryptview do theirs,both are closed source boxes.

 

the dreambox looks hard to set up though lol.i like the blade caues it looks easy peasy. what to do what to do??????????????????

 

Dreambox is not to hard to set up with a bit of reading on here you will get there and it will be worth it and there are plenty on here to help if you get stuck

 

i just had worse day ever on ss. that used to be ok even a week ago, today was unwatchable.. watched a championship match instead of prem it was that bad glitching.

 

Same here - tried to watch Toon v Spurs and it glitched and lost signal all of the way through. Def going down the sat route now - at least the kids will get to watch Cartoon Network during Half term!!

 

I see ssnews is back on, pity about ss4 but beggars cant be choosers.Be grateful for what we"re getting at the moment I suppose.SS1 was terrible yesterday,it seems to be the worst at the minute, hopefully they"re working on it.fingers crossed.

 

i doubt kv are working on it m8, they most probably waiting for the whole thing to die out.....its been downhill for a long time now.

 

probably right but how does the likes of ssnews and other channels keep coming and going,does that not make you think they"re working on it.

 

they messing with 1 or 2 channels, i wouldnt call that any sort of progress. i dont understand why the FTA channels would glitch, bunch of tozzers

 

glitching on SS1 seems to be a lot less now,don"t want to be speaking to soon but they had to do something to try and get it sorted, still keeping the faith, more fool me perhaps!

 

Hi maybe its Vermin messing about,so as to f**k some people out of not using the KVs?

 

could well be the case,so the less people use KV the less load on the server,would that be right?

 

just think the kv cant keep the nag3 from scrambling the signal properly

 

Is it just me or does SS1 look a lot sharper than it was when it was glitching badly.I hope this a good sign of things to come.All we need now is SS4 and we"re laughing!

 

its only running off 1 server so the boxes hit that server the more glitching you get. im sure i read somewhere that the one server can only handle 5.000 boxes. i bet you a tit wank that more than 5 thousand boxes are connected to that server
