Hey Gear I'm actually looking for a car around $3000 - $3500. Do you have anything in that price range?
hey gear do u have any 98-04 VW Jetta stick shift and i'm willing to spend about 8000-12000 low milages piz.
for all that are asking for cars, i got a ford tempo, customer has not paid for repairs, i think we will sell car (once we get title) for about 1000 bucks, we have a dodge neon, prolly go for about 900 bucks, a kia, has new engine, clutch, radiator, will sell for 2800, and a mazda mpv for about 1600. we get alot of cars in the shop that customers say fix the car, but then abandon the vehicle. after 30 days, we file a mechanics lein on the car and take ownership, then make an attempt to sell the car for what we put into it. but thats what we have now. perhaps, i should make a new thread below the gearhead thread we have here and sell these cars !!! hehe. i'd have to pay AD a royalty i guess. but this is going off topic here from the original thread.
Hey xboxdevil, did ya notice the after I said your English sucked? I bet ya didn't, cuz it means just kidding. HAHA I'm not a foreigner, I was born in the U.S., and will probably die in Japan, China, or England. @Jamzbond Burglars Association of London LOL I wish I could have seen that one.
See I didn't know that, so techically yes I am. And English in America should be called American, cuz we have a lot of words from different languages and there's a lot of differences here in America on English than from where it came from. Did you know that there are more people in China that speak English than here in America? And Jamzbond, I hope they DO put me in a cockpit I've got to show them the tailslide with an SU-37.
I want an Audi 'cos I HATE BMWs, mercs & all the other so called nice motors! I don't like Fords or Vauxhalls (build quality sucks!) I just like the look of Audis, & I like their bland but functional interiors. Quite simply, nothing else appeals. I don't intend working on it though, I've had enough of that to last a lifetime! If I had a garage I would have another bike, GSXR-1000 should suffice, my GSXR-750 was nicked & it wasn't fast enough for me!
Mitsubishi vehicles all the way for me. Metsubishi all the way for blinding an attacker, then making my escape. YEEhaw.
Oh!, how could I forgot to add those who resent their golden years to my list of those who should complain. 'Why?', you ask......just take a peek below. LOL @Andmerr You think I could add this to the Friday funnies thread. hehe....just kidding
[bold]OFF TOPIC ALERT .........warning warning[/bold] XBOXDEVIL: pm me if or would you rather i post this to the general forum.I asked a friend a favor and she in turn gave me some information on a company that has just opened a new business in south australia or should i say extended there businesses.I have a phone number for both businesses. What you do with the info is your concern but she says that they are employing people.Get that resume ready and look the part.If you sell your self who knows you may even rejoin the ranks of nthe employed again. Your choice: andmerr
such a pal andmerr is............. always looking out for the 'little guy' @xboxdevil you could always travel way south where i live, they are building a new toyota truck plant here, no experience needed, just a good attitude and a willingness to work. i'd love to work in a factory that does that, but since i already work in the automotive industry, i do not qualify.
I can still remember what its like to be unemployed even though i have been in the work force for the last 22 years. Its not a nice place to be.
...indeed. in my 18yrs of employment since leaving school, i was out of work for 7mths total due to forced and abrupt redundancy (i worked for a huge bank). Anyway, i decided to change career, took some initiative, added it so a suggestion my ma made (ie offer to work for a firm for free as a trial) and was offered a job real quick, though i spent a couple yrs on half the money i was previously used to. However within the first month i was given the opportunity to cross-train and it took me about a year of hellish self-training/self-mentoring (and massive amounts of googling, hence why i still live on google) and a sheer determination to learn a new career (my current career). the learning curve was enormous (still is sometimes), but it paid off as i rose thru the ranks again, and am getting paid virtually what i was on before redundancy. A few yrs effort was worth it, definitely. i don't want to go thru all that again, but if that's what's necessary to get paid/be employable, so be it. in fact i'm looking to totally cross-train again within the next year or less (gulp!)
