Movies have to be in .dpg format, easiest way is to download SUPER, it is a pain to find the link on their webpages but it can be done.

Once you have super - this can convert almost anything to almost any format.

To convert my films (as dpg is a very fussy format and ofter give lip sync errors) I rip the DVD to the hard drive (using DVD shrink and in the preferences un ticking the 1gb bits option) this means that the film is in one lump. Then use super to convert it to .dpg. When done it will be about 300mb, it plays well but not if you fast forward or rewind then it can hang up.

To play films a faster SD card is better.

MP3 just put on the card and play with moonshell - plays all MP3's

    Pictures - never done it

If you have the correct firmware 4.2e or 1.34 sakura (make sure they are the same region as your card (Asia, Japan or Europe/USA) as the card is region locked.

You may have a fake - the site on the bottom of the label on the card should be www.adapter.com (not adaptese or anything else)

First put the M3 card into the DS, turn on the DS, in the bottom corner of the screen it will have M3 and after about 5 - 10 seconds it should come up with No SD Card Found. If it does this then load the card as follows.

You should have on the card, a single folder called (SYSTEM).
you then create another folder called (NDS)

Put a single game (.nds) in that folder, when you put it into the DS what happens.

    I am strugling myself.

Have the latest firmware and copied the system file onto the chip. Than created a NDS folder and copied a .nds file

when i turn on the DS, i get a folder on the top screen with the word MENU? below it

Another time the DS just flashes and shuts down.

    Any suggestions?
    Thanks

Check the card and box - if it says anything other than www.adapter.com then it is a fake.

The latest software is 4.3c - see the site in my signature for all the firmwares

Had this problem myself. I changed two things. 1st-I reformatted the card to Fat instead of fat32 (this was most likely the problem) and 2nd- downgraded my SYSTEM software to 3.9.
