but you can still play movies and music like the others right. it just can't play GBA games. cause if it can't do the other things i may aswell get the m3 perfect lite.
hiya! simply supports text files rite? but is it possible to also read .doc and .pdf files on it? what about the .cbz comic files? is there anyway id be able to get these running on the ds?? thanks!
hi! look what i found! http://gnese.free.fr/NDS/ComicBookDS/?language=en can anyone tell me whether id be able to run this on the m3 simply? cheers! also do you think i should go ahead and order a simply now? or wait till ppl can review it?
can i start off by saying. DO NOT buy anything from this site as it is all more expensive than divineo. and i know u can trust divineo cause my friend succesfully bought something there. as for pre-ordering or waiting i can't decide either. and i would suppose u could run the program on simply cause if it's compatible with ds i'd think it was compatible with the emulator.
hi, did my post get deleted :s neways was asking, will the m3 simply be able to support other forms of documents apart for text files such as pdf or word document? i found this cbz comic book reader http://gnese.free.fr/NDS/ComicBookDS/ would i be able to run it from the simply? and how about the ds organise? thanks!
oh darn... i just pre-ordered the m3 lite perfect, m3 ds simply, and sd reader combo. i was just checking shipping costs and ended up doing it subconciously [seriously, my subconcious spends a lot of money, 127$ this time]. i feel stupid; i would have preferred to wait, but i never back out from sales. since i "have" it now. i have 2 questions. which brand sd card should i get? (a-data perhaps?) ...and, does anyone think i can use the same sd card for both the ds simply and lite perfect (as in, interchangeable w/o going to a computer to swap files)? i think this can be done after i install their respective wares (just no gba/nds game playability depending on slot). but i have no personal experience with m3 products at all. any help would be appreciated.
about the simply and perfect u only really needed one as they do like the same things. and bad luck on cost. damn subconciousness. i don't think the brand matters but u can get san-disk on divineo and it should be fine. u should be able to use the same SD card (u want micro by the way) as they both would fit in the other and have the same use anyway. but i still can't understand why u'd by the simply and perfect maybe u should sell one on this forum cause they r practically the same
well the simply has no gba compatibility as of yet (that we know of). so it's ok i got the perfect. but i guess ~someone~ will make a gba emulator later on... darn... *further blames subconcious* i'll see what happens... all i know is i "have" a flashcart with a f'ing great passme... well since i'll be one of the first to get one, i'll be sure to help you guys out (as long as there is no risk of bricking the ds). give me any suggestions for apps and/or games (castlevania test!). edit: btw, thanks greaterf.
always happy to help. but ur always gonna have an extra, whether it be the simply or perfect lite. so it occured to me that u might have a friend who'd buy the extra off u. plus u could make a nice profit off it too. having it b4 others do. by the way, i'm in melbourne, where r u. cause if ur close i could buy ur extra.
sorry m8. i live in florida. kinda really far from you. any profit would be lost in s&h. it must suck getting game releases like last all the time there. edit: oh yeah here are some advantages of having both: 2x the memory potential of having just one or the other (they can both take microsd's) with the simply i can use opera web-browsing and with the lite i can get gba right away w/o emulation or such (there are lots of gba-exclusive games i like)
can u tell me what opera browsing is and nice idea about having twice the memory on ur DS. hadn't thought of that. merry christmas guys or hope u had one atleast. and getting games later doesn't bother me much cause i don't buy much when it first comes out, i'm a waiter for cheep prices.
in the list of features; the very last part: ~ Support WiFi , DS rumble pack & DS browser . the ds browser let's you access the internet thru wifi connection with the opera browser (they have one on the wii too; contract maybe?). from waht i've heard... it's slow~ (perhaps because servers are in japan/europe; which means the closer you are to these places, the faster it ~should~ be.) it is nice though. the top screen focuses and zooms in on one part of the page, the lower screen shows the whole page. you can drag a little box around on the bottom to make the top change focus. you can switch to a no picture mode to make browsing faster. it has keyboard, back, forward, etc. butons, and handwriting recognition. and you can expand the ds's ram (for better surfing) by plugging in some mem expansion thing in the gba slot (perhaps the m3 lite could accomplish this, which would equal a bit under a gig of ram depending on space taken up, PERHAPS). edit: MERRY FRACKIN' X-MAS!!!
i was wondering if anyone could tell me of advantages to get a simply over the perfect lite. cause i can't think of any. other than the obvious size factor
cost, clean dumps of nds games (no patch), faster loading, battery lasts longer (only 1 port is "on"), doesn't need much else to function, acts as passme (for compatibilty purposes), skinnable interface, more touch screen interactivity, errr did i miss something... meh... but remember, this is all speculative at this point, we won't be certain until someone gets it and does a review and lists its features and capabilities.
oh, and i also found out u can get 2GB micro SD cards which i thik r somewhat rarer to hear about so i thought u guys might not know. i know u can get them off ebay.
