?modded XBOX with executer 2 wont play games any more?

the file was already there C/xboxdashdata.185ead00/settings_adoc.xip replacing the file did not have any effect as they both were the same.
the ms dash i dl contains:

default.xip
dvd.xip
jkeyboard.xip
keyboard.xip
mainmenu5.xip
memory2.xip
memory_files2.xip
message.xip
music2.xip
music_copy3.xip
music_playedit2.xip
settings3.xip
settings_adoc.xip
settings_clock.xip

settings_panel.xip
settings_parental.xip
settings_timezone.xip
settings_video.xip

 

I mean you list files and folders. But dont list inside folders.

So the one dl has C,E,F. Just list what in C. Dont list inside those folders.

 

ok i just finished replacing the whole ms dash and no sign of parental
control

 

the c folder from the 1 i dl has

audio
fonts
xboxdashdata.1012a700
xodash
xboxdash.xbe

 

FTP goto C drive on Xbox. Backup them all if you did not. Then delete these files on C drive.

Audio

Then copy these from the one you download on PC to C drive.

xboxdash.xbe

Then reboot xbox. Let me know

 

yeah did that already thats i meant when i said i had replace the whole ms dash but nothin no parent control and still cant play games i even updated my bios from 4974 to 4983 and nothing

 

which dashboard do you have now? Not ms dash.

it is weird that you dont have parental control on M$ dash. Because you can play some games. Are they kid games? do they has violents, blood or rated R?

ok do you have autoinstaller disk? do you have another hdd (10GB or above)?

 

naw all i have is the factory HDD that came with the x

 

So the hdd on xbox right now is stock hdd.

 

I want to make a new hdd and install new dashboard to see if that will fix the problem.

YOu can download this and Then unrar it. The iso is inside. Then burn it to DVD. With this disk you can build any hdd for xbox (10GB or above).

ok i get where ur coming from i forgot to tell u that the 4 gig HD i got has evox and ms dash that i used b4 i upgraded to 40gigs

 

So where is the old one?

 

i will swap them and test it out then i will tell you if it worked or not
