i tried messenger live an i thought it was really bad. I had quite a few things that bugged the hell out of me. The main thing was when someone sent you say like a mp3 file in the 7.5 messenger it would show a little media player icon and would show the title of the song or filename underneath then it would say save as.. decline.. accept etc. and it would have a transfer bar that filledu p green as it progressed. But when using live messenger all that came up was accpet decline save as. No icon, no file name, no transfer bar =s so tht went straight into the bin and i re-installed 7.5 lol wt bwt you guys any other bad experiences with it? Oh yeah i cant rmeber who it was that sed they had to scroll through all the contacts to find people onlyn / offlyn but you can easilt fix that by fiddling around with the settings becuase i hated that too until i sorrted it. But i suppose the whole thing with th transfer bar was because i had the beta version. But i lyk 7.5 so i dont see the point in changin lol even the live messenger support staff said to go back to 7.5 when i asked them about the whoole file transfer thing lol
The only bad thing I see about Live is that is the new message alert sound (when someone sends you a message) it's too high pitched, I later replaced the sound with one of my liking anyway, so now I'm fine and dandy.
i dont know why but u have 2 emails. one email is always getting catch problems on windows live mewssenger and i have to go into all the application data west which is hidden in documents and settings. then i have to delete all information about my email just so i can log into messenger. i have another email and that never has any catch problems so it really annoys me
@Billy, Go My Documents/My Sharing Folders. Inside "My Sharing Folders" is all the files being shared via MSN Live Messenger, simple
I foudn it there rav, but it wont let me delete it.... It makes a low beep sound when i have it higlighted and try press delete on the keyboard, and i right click it and it has no delete option. There is nothing inside it. Mystery...... (thanks btw mate.)

i use windows live messenger and when i download somthink it has a transfer bar , an icon and all the other info you usally have. maby yours didnt install properly est. does anyone know why windows live messenger has so many catch problems?
yeah it has been released know properly hasn't it? I had the beta version and it didnt show up. You probably have the proper release now lol i'm fine with 7.5 though lol chris
I like to chat with my aunt who lives in a different state but we do that in pm's. Does anyone know any cool games that you can play and chat at the same time? As for 16 year olds being in a chatroom I think at that age you should still be under parental controls in a chatroom. Also for the online dating that is for the birds cause you never know if someone is out too kill you or something.
i dont know of any good games that u can play useing msn, but is there any way to get/copy people's display picture instead of getting them to download/send it in an e-mail or anything else half interesting that u can do on msn(other than talk, download and play games)
