People are crazy of a stupid system that everybody will be able to get in feburary or whenever....

A man was shot in Putnam, Connecticut today by a pair of ski-mask wearing gunmen attempting to steal money from a queue of punters waiting in line to buy PlayStation 3 consoles, local police have revealed.

According to Lieutenant J Paul Vance, cited by the Associated Press, the would-be thieves threatened 15-20 people standing outside a Wal-Mart store at 3am local time. One man resisted and was subsequently shot. He was taken to hospital, but his condition is not known.

The gunmen - both believed to be teenagers, Vance said - fled the scene empty handed.

Sony's PS3 went on sale in the US at midnight. Since then there have been numerous reports of unruly behaviour among queuing Americans, and even several allegations that muggers stole recently acquired consoles.

AP also reports that four people standing outside a BestBuy in Lexington, Kentucky were injured by pellets fired by someone in car as they drove past.

"There will be millions of PlayStation 3's sold, and they will all be online," he said, predicting that the sheer computing power available between the machines will be among the largest and most powerful computers ever assembled.

That made it to the Global News in Canada. People here were paying the homeless to keep their place in line.

EB scanned the local papers, buy sell & trade, ebay, and refused to sell the prepaid PS3 to any that were trying to capitalize. This made the local news.

Ok, I'm back..Havn't been on the forums for a bit cuz I've been playing my ps3. Anyways all you guys that think I'm lieing. Well I'm not. and second of all someone changed my heading and also put it in the saftey valve. I put this in the Ps3 section. Anyways This is all true. I wouldn't lie to you on how I would have supposidly got followed home by some dudes. People are crazy over this Ps3..And in Indiana.Thats where I live. Well in this small area I live in well there isn't alot of rich kdis. but I'm being serious. Here. And no I wasn't in no drive by watever that head line said.Some admin must have changed it or somthing. Anyways. It is true. And if you don't believe it thats fine. If you do good for you. I was just telling you wat crazy thing happened to me getting a ps3. So believe it or not.it's up to you. But I wouldn't lie about somthing so crazy.Like why would I lie to you guys over something that happened and you guys think it's a movie. Lol Man come on. But w/e I don't care. It's not a big ordeal.
