well the story is i softmodded my xbox (actually my bros thats why im tryin to fix it) and i accidently deleted the dash board and i thought this slayerz disc would reinstall it or somthin like that. my sisters xbox is softmodded and fully functional. is there a way i can fix my bros xbox.

ok i pimp i hotsawp my xbox and i used this tutrial

but when I "poweroff" the xbox and put everthing back together
then when i try to loaded the game without no game inside it just gos to the big X and have white words- "mirosoft" on the bottom. OK do u no how to or do u no how to get it not to freeze at the big X, also no error or dashboard comes up

 

Well, I would think it's your HD timing out, but you would get an error for that. It probably just has trouble reading a file on the HD that it needs from the original dash. Do you have a chip or softmodded box then I take it?

hey pimp i swapped drives on my xboxes and its still a no go on the disc. and i know the drive is working cuz it plays games. it must have been the soft mod on the other xbox that allowed it to read the disc. oh well i guess i just gotta make friends with a kid that has a dvd burner lol.

 

i have softmodded it but if u cant help me i will be forced to get a mod chip.

Im having the close to the same problem he is having. I can't get to the dashboard and it says, "Call customer service" with the number 21 on the top left corner. If i need to also get the slayers, could you specify what folders they are in on smartftp?
