Nero 8 Freezes everything while beginning to burn.

    If you can have someone download and burn the Memtest file to a CD, you can test the ram.

    My memory is the cause? I just maxed it out to 3.25gb not too long ago.

    I might be able to do it myself. I've burned onto a CD-RW before. It is on DVDs that seems to freeze everything.

    Which one am I putting onto a disc? Pre-Compiled Bootable ISO (.zip)?

    I ran the memtest. I only did 1 pass and I didn't get any errors.

    I just wanted to let everyone know that the problem has been solved. Hopefully nothing bad happens from now on. I changed the sata data cable and put it in a different sata slot. That fixed the burning issue. I was also advised to change my PIO mode to Ultra mode in transfer mode for my IDE controllers. Now things feel smoother. That might've been the cause of the burning problems and blue screen of deaths I have been getting lately. I appreciate the help from everyone here. Thanks.
