    hy
you must have the plugins directory in program files/COMMON FILES/ahead/plugins
    or
    p files/COMMON FILES/ahead/nero/audio plugins
    (i think)
did you searched in the common files directory from program files?
you don't have to look in p files/ahead/nero cause you'll find nothing
i'll edit the post, but...i don't know how
    pls tell me
    thanx

ok, the problem was solved.(thanx creaky & Dave)
now i have another short question for nero users. if they can help me.
open ner burning rom and press F8 (encode files)
click ADD browse to your computer and add a file to be encoded.
then go to settings and check this out:
    there you have: constant bitrate
    variable bitrate
    fit to size
    encoder quality: high
    fast
[bold]AAC profile: LC (low complexity) AAC[/bold]

now, that's my question: do you have HC (high complexity)AAC? i remembered that a few months ago i had HC too! i am right or i am wrong?
I have read that Nero HC AAC is better than Nero LC AAC. But i don't have Nero HC AAC. If someone knows what's the problem please let me know.
    thanx

no worries. however you're getting technical now!, i'm happy as long as any mp3 is at 128 or 192kbit, and that's as technical as get with audio. :)

Look in program files/common files/dsfilter and see if aacplus.dll is there. If not that may be your answer for hc.

last night i was compering AAC LC with AAC HC. HC is a lot better. i could listen to an mp4 @ 32 kbs. it's amazing. i have done an mp3 @ 32 kbs but it sucks. But i was amaized that an ogg @ 32 kbs sound better than an mp4 @ the same bitrate. Mp4 it suppozed to be "the killer" at this bitrate right?
