So does this give the Starview 4 USB some credibility again as it's come in for a lot of stick recently on a lot of these threads..the word "doorstop" springs to mind... very surprised to see a fix up so soon!

Sigh, have a look at the Kryptview thread, its all there and covered countless times, the ITGATE also, but if you aint up to speed on linux boxs, go for a kryptview, but read the threads and make your own mind up on it, cheers

That is for the starview 4 usb, there is no new firmware for your box so you have been misinformed, also no need to ask the same question in 3 different threads.

Why not, would there not be different people on each thread that may be able to answer. I have heard of the firmare for the USB and I don't think that I have been missinformed as I heard it from the guy who supplied me the box last year. Maybe you haven't heard of it yet???

Jesus, no need to be like that. What's your problem? Just asked if anyone knew where to get it yet. Didn't ask to hear from people who haven't and wanna throw smart comments

Also I think from these threads you can see clearly that most people on here are not going by the RULES!!

relax lads the start of this thread is misleading
    it does say
Thread 'new Starview firmwire on the way' has been updated‏

maybe it should have said 'starview usb fix' on the way
also about multiposting it is annoying when you get an update and it is all the same thing on different threads, that is why the rule is there...

Hay lay off hotmomaa, he's only asking when a fix for the other starviews will be out. It's not multi posting . It's keeping the pressure on starview to support all their boxes.I'm begining to think that some of these 'experts' who keep saying there be no fix are only interested in selling new boxes!
