sorry whats a boot log off it its the first time ive flashed a box not sure i flashed it with ifa thanks again

 

Install or start DboxBootmanager and untick EVERYTHING apart from Baudrate and set it to 9600 and click on start. You can ignore any warnings and just press OK as only the serial connection is used.

Then turn your box on and see if you get Bootmessages in the Com Window.
.
You can now just right click into the Com Window and choose "ALLES in die Zwischenablage kopieren" as this is the same command as STRG/Ctrl-C and you can just paste this Information either here in the Forum or open Wordpad and save it as a text file.

I have a Nokia Dbox which has sportest img and nagrarom7 which was working fine until the wife did a scan for one more channel and guess what no more channels. HELP. I've put nagrarom7 on again but still no channels apart from BBC 1,2 ITV & C4.

which area you in, it may be best to get a copy of the services.xml for your area instead of doing a rescan

 

Hi is anyone here in the midlands and if so are you getting all your channels ? i have a few that are no longer seeming to work 5us & adult channels are the ones ive noticed sofar not working any info would be greatly apprieciated

 

I live in Leeds, will I be able to get the channels back with the .xml?

 

I was wondring if you guys could help me out. I've bought a Nokia Dbox2 and it was working fine, until my sister cleared the keys. After that I didn't get the locked channels only a few channels. I then tried to upload the image to my dbox again, in the hope that this would correct this, but this did not work. I tried to change settings, but now I can't even see the network information on the box anymore. Can anybody help me out? Is my Dbox recoverable?

Where did you get the image, and where are you located, what service provider are you using?

Did you flash the box successfully?

 

Hi There, I got the image from a friend of mine. He put the image on there for me. I'm using the Commando image, i'm located in London and i'm using Virgin Media as my service provider

 

Easiest thing to do imo, is to get a working image for your area and reflash the box.

 

Hi mate goto this link and get the commando image x2 and flash on your box using ifa then once done do a scan all menus etc are sorted just SCAN and you ll be back on

I tried this out, but to no success. Basically I have set in network settings, it to start network on boot and dhcp to on. But no network details show up at all, this worries me alot.

Do you have any advice for me?

 

turn dhcp off m8,you can puit the ip you want in of your own choice etc, have you used the image in the link i provided? if so then you should not have a problem once flashed using ifa image flash assistant then just scan

you dont need to worry about dhcp, ip etc ifa sorts it out for you just put that image on then get back with the prob you have, if you stuck with ifa watch this vid

I've done this and was successful in loading the image. I get channels popping up, but I can't watch any of them. It says error channel not available.

hi can anyone help; just loaded commando image by ftp to my box and now when i go back to reconnect box to laptop by ftp core lite cannot get connection tried with user:root and password: commando but still no joy !! any suggestions please as driving me crazy tryin to get bck service xml

 

it will be the ip more than likely change it to what you want or are used to using other than that it will be the password, as follows---commando ;-)

 

hi turner i tried that but still no joy looking in my settings web options say port 80 ive tried with this also set to 21 but still no joy any clues as did get image from your link you may know what settings i need on dbox
