    I have tried it with the null cable and no luck. Its very strange to think the Network port and the Scart connections are dead. I was really hoping to flash it to see if it fixes this. Its really getting fustrating. Any more advice please...

    Hi.
    On my Sagem dbox I am able to enter new keys via the handset.I have a friends Sagem dbox that I am also trying to enter the new keys via the handset, however,the box will not accept them. I've been informed that I need to " ftp the rom image to enable auto update ". Firstly, I am a newbie and would appreciate it if anyone has an idiots guide to dboxes. Secondly, in lamens terms please, could you explain the ftp the rom image ?. your patience is appreciated.

    i think you will find its picino, if you click the links in my sig you shud be able to sort your problem out, its better than reading as many ppl dont tend to do

    Everywhere :) Joking apart look in Eamos at the end of my post. If you need it just for TV try the Virgin 2.1 image, (please download the readme also). Or if you want to record/stream also try Blade Quad. Do you have a Nokia or Sagem?

    Dependent of image set your location, leave bouquets current and scan. There are guides in Eamos at the end of my post.

    Cheers mate, I have a DM500 also so am used to Enigma. Tried it on my Dbox looks nice alright. But the Mrs/kids cant get used to the bouquets and EPG set up, so back to nuetrino for me :(
