    A coat hanger tied to the end of a brush handle. See I too think outside the box LOL. I am working on a vid now Turner.

    Dam i shud of done lol...also that wizz, he slated me other day n took piss pmsl so i did the vid just for peace of mind...so i NOT CRAZY BOY!!! no more.....well just a little maybe ;-) but this way is the most simple way to do the job no fookin about with ip diasable this than n other press this dont do that blah blah blah....pmsl....

    Hi guys,just a small bit of help needed.

    i can do most things with the nokia dbox2,i can flash the dbox no probs,even used the new virgin image,connected to the dbox via flash fxp,and inserted the files etc manually,and got it working.

    i can do the starviews,eurovox box,and a few others.

    the only thing i cant do and dont understand is the SERVICES and BOUQUETS files for the dbox2.

    how do i use them?i know i need to connect to the box,thats easy,but what do i do then?

    im in a north lanarkshire TW region,my box is fine,but when i reflash i hate manually editing the bouquets.

    where do i get the service files?can someone explain what they do,and tell me where they go once o have flashe dthe box and have all the chanels?

    Just when i think it's quiet enough around here to unsubscribe from some DVB threads, we have a page long signature appear.

    Signatures

    1. Text-only signatures should have at most 5 lines of text.

    2. An image-only signature should be less than 50kb in size, and be at most 500 pixels wide and 200 pixels tall.

    3. If you use an animated picture in the signature, it should not be too distractive. Eg. blinking images or images with quick movement are not allowed.

    4. If you want to use both text and image in your signature the image should not be more than 500 pixels wide and 100 pixels tall, and you can use up to three lines of text.

    So... i make that 214kb and 480x364 pixels wide/tall, not including the white space in between, let's see it fixed please..
    ..plus let's work on the coherence and also the profanities (the posts on this page).

    ftp to your box var/tuxbox/config/zapit your lil beauties live in there once you have sorted your bouquets out in order just drag then for the path above save to desktop then when you change the img just drag and drop in the path above reboot then no more sorting the fookers out....

    Hi all long time no speak
    I am here because ive been robbed but the thick * only took my hdtv not my laptop and dbox ! so i am here asking if anyone can help me watch my dbox on my laptop untill i can afford a new tv !
    any help greatly appreciated

    grinlike - let's keep the language clean if you don't mind.

    To the regulars, if more regulars self-moderated (ie most already do) then the big mean moderators wouldn't need to bother coming in here... surely that's occurred to some of you.. ..just think, i could stay out and none of you would have to see me again, surely that's appealing to more people than just me...
    In a lot of the other forums here the moderators hardly have to moderate, and the mods can just post helpful info as opposed to moderate..

    is there any way of changing the box boot up image from the original?

    like FTP a picture into the box so thats your picture when switching the box on?

    instead of looking at 2 dogs for pacino etc,i would maybe like to see my football teams logo instead.

    use logo viewer to change logo m8, its easy found n easy to use have fun putting your footy team on....broke back mountain....springs to mind....pmsl....what ever floats ya boat :)

    @creaky see your in a good mood buddy....wana tell uncle turner whats to do? :p

    well i do like to push the boundaries ;-p only kidding, if you ever feel as thou you going to ban some1, best thing to do is count to 10 deep breaths etc etc and say to yourself "is it worth a ban" nah you ll say n wonder off the the dvd thread or something pmsl. peace

    Connect your D Box to Laptop Or Router
    And use the Y web to Veiw the D Box
    12345 All good
    But PPV channels Hit and miss with Audio .........Paul

    Hi soz to but in, try using wingrab and vlc works on all channels with no problems, but it works better when pc wired to the router (more stable) just enter your dbox ip then copy paste video client paremeter then open vlc hit play button and enter this into the file n ok, sorry not much detail, ill do a tut on it when i get time
