for tank battles i would go for containment.

i have to say this but-

i took on 4 warthogs each with 3 ppl, and i wasted them all. i blew up the drivers with granades and took out the gunner with sniper rifel and the passanger with a battle rifle.

IT WAS SO MUCH FUN.

tank battles rule, imagine 16 tanks in one map, where 8 ppl go ahead against 8 otha ppl, now that would be sweet

 

yeh dat would be cool.
they should have a huge variety of close hand weps.
the BR does control halo 2 but AR controlled halo1 sorta.

 

I agree Tank battles would be fun with covenant and human tanks but i really wouldn't ride in the tank just highjack and blow them up. Now that would be fun

 

What tank do you prefer? Human or Covenant? Me like big a*s human one!

 

Definitaly the human one. The wraith is harder to hit with its plasma bombs, and I like the machine gun/mortar ability.

one arguement i have against tanks is in matchmaking if they r gonna put a tank on a map make sure u put one for offence and one for defence. Its stupid to give only one side the tank becuase rockets are too nuetraly placed on the map. being on how the tank is mainly placed right there for the defence its too hard to get newhere near the flag/bomb arm area. this is mainly against the burial mounds tank that pops up occasionally. it is way to small to have a tank there.

 

I wonder why in the game when you drive a covenant tank they don't let you shot the plama shot just the cannon

 

i dont know but i dont really have a liking for the covenant tank because of its slow moving and slow firing system. the human tank would kill it haha

 

Tru but one precise shot with the covenant tank can destroy a marine tank before before the covenant tank is seen around the corner (if you know how to use it)or something and you can strife very well but its still slow as hell.

 

i like the human tank better because it is faster than the wraith and it is more effective against ground troops and the banshee

 

not against the banshee though wavedash caus by the time you fire at it, the thing will be half way across the level. the only way you can kill a banshee with a covenant tank is if it flies directly at you(like a retard)

 

you could use the machine gun against the banshee

 

@cjcoled He was saying it was easier to kill a banshee with a scorpion tank. Obviously its hard to hit anything moving fast with the Wraith.

 

duh its harder to hit fast stuff with the wraith. i personally differ the wraith.

is halo 2 realy tactics evolved cus i never use tactics in halo2 cus its kinda hard....there sorta tactics but not very advanced ones just basic ones.

 

yeah thats what i was saying. its hard to hit a banshee with any tank if its flying around but if its with a covenant tank its nearly impossible

 

Yea, I know, I said it in my previous post...and what do you mean you differ the wraith?

 

if the wraith had fast movement and better health, i would actually consider using it, but since everything about it stinks im just gonna go with the scorpion, ghost, or banshee
