Also, Im not ganna ask OC if it's already OC... I ask how to OC because it's not OC and i cant find a way to OC... Im not dumb and said "I dont know how to OC my destop computer with custom build"...
I laughed so hard I wet myself, do you think wet pants will cool the CPU down for a bit? the smell of beer and urine might be a turnoff though in my opinion,
I think you should change the spelling in your name - I thought it was Mrs Licker! I now know it was Mr Slicker! roflmao Although I think Mrs Licker is perhaps the better of the two! What doesnt LightXXX understand. If you do like everyone has said and reinstall your OS - It will wipe the hard disk and you will have a fresh clean and fast installation of XP meaning you wont have to overclock the laptop because it is slow! I am still waiting for the "My laptop went on fire and its all my bros fault what can i do" thread to pop up some time soon! lol
The Freak??? It's an internet problem, not a burning problem... You people stupid? It's Connection problems, it still works but it's not connecting to some sites...
It took 5 pages of posts to finally get him to format...if it did not take so much work to convince him to do things correctly, someone might have gotten around to telling him to backup his movies first...LoL!
I delete movies because it's old plus i seen it already edited by ddp... I dont just delete them for no reason... I was planning to keep for history or so but it seem to be useless since i dont even have space for another 300 movies...
Maybe he is foreign and doesnt understand English as well as we would expect? Just a thought - his spelling kinda indicates not being exactly savoire faire with the old Engleesh Language Meester!
I guess battery life doesn't matter to the OP. Buy a fooking desktop. Overclocking a laptop...Very funny
What's even funnier is that ORIGINPC.com is using a Intel I7-990X extreme 6 core desktop cpu in a laptop and then over clock that. Is's already fast enough at 3.46GHz and 130 watts so how much does it draw at 4.6 GHZ ?
Don't know the specs. It is obvious it draws more current the a so-called laptop should. Plugging the thing for AC > DC power defeats the purpose of having a laptop in the first place. That's why I said, "Buy a fooking desktop." Jeff
That crazy laptop could be great for the right person...like if you need to do 3D CAD in various locations, and you don't want to lug a desktop case, screen, mouse, and keyboard everywhere. This computer could be a lifesaver for some. Also, some airlines now offer power sockets for laptops; if you spend most of your time on an airplane, then it is only the size of the PC that matters; not the power source.
I'm not paying that much for a laptop. Get you're point about doing work and such needing a small power house. How many people use CAD/CAM? I suspect not many. Even when I was designing RAD detection equipment for Stanford National Labs, there was no task that couldn't wait until I was sitting at a desktop. If you love blowing $$ on toys then that laptop fits the bill. Personal preferences I guess. Jeff
Granted, there can't be too many of these kinds of people; if there were, more airlines would still have "First Class" sections. Still, if you are the kind of person that has a private jet to avoid the normal delays of air travel, and there is always a limo waiting for you because you have more important things to do than drive, then a laptop that does things instantly is worth far more than the price tag on some crazy overclocked hex core laptop.
