    Phantom69 and myself use The GIMP, which is basically a freeware alternative to photoshop, and can be found a http://sourceforge.net

    thanks man, hopefully that will save me some time, i've been using microsoft paint, bannershop gif animator 5, and microsoft digital image starter edition 2006

    for gifs.. i would use fireworks from macromedia.. which is now owned by adobe..
