The picture took about hour or so.. The snake was pretty scary.. I found a long skinny tree and managed to pin his head down on the ground.. Then we cut it's head off with a knife.. That thing was super strong and huge too.. I was seriously changing my mind once I got him pinned and he started to fight and kick.. I got him in the end though.. take it easy

Yeah - beer everyday is only really good for a maximum of a week, you start to get bored after a while.

How did you remove the people and get the background image to blend in as it did?

I had two other pictures taken in the same area that had more of a background view in them.. I patched a few pieces from each photo into that one. Then cloned, blended and adjusted colors. The photo is 2560x1952 picture so I was able to zoom in and really do a nice job with the details.. I have a few other pictures of cars that I painted and needed to edit. I might upload a few of them also and see what you guys think.. I love to play around with photoshop..

I think it may be more to do with the tree roots making it look edited, rather than editing. If u dont notice it on the higher resolution one, then thats prob why. ill have to think of a good pic to edit :D

Thats makes sense. I was wondering why the tree moved back and new one appeared. But it does look really good. That must have taken a quite a pit of time. Do you have a graphics tablet or was that with mouse clicks?

All done with a mouse.. I want a tablet to use.. Have you used one before? I really want to try one before I buy one though, just to see if it works good.. Do you reccomend any specific type or brand to get?

I bought a really cheap one. Its from a company that when bankrupt, Jam Studio. It was only ment for Win98, but someone wrote a crack to get it to work for WinXP. It not bad. It works the same as mouse would, for any progam. You can use just like a mouse.

From playing with it thought I would say if you can aford it, get a large one. The tablet space i the desktop. So a 4inch width is the same as though you desktop was 4inchs wide. IT one I have is 5 by 7 I think, and its not too bad. You get a lot more control with the sensitivity of the pen. Also with a good program like photoshop you can use the snap feature more effectively to "lasso" around something to cut it out.
But from what you have been able to do with a mouse, I don't think it would give you too much more power in your editing. Unless you bought one of the real large tablets, but there around $1000.

Let's hope the great power that is photoshop is only used for good instead of evil. Because we can never have too many naked Britney Spears pics.
