I've recently gotten my hands on 2 arcade machines : House of the Dead 2 and 3 for like €1500 :) the cabinets where messed up, the guns where faulty, and some wires where loose. So i fixed all that with some help from my cousin, and now i've got 2 of the coolest arcade machines standing in my game room... You've got to love it when big arcade machine companies have blow out sales :D

arcade games are too expensine for me.if i could afford an arcade game i would no doubt get a really good pinball machine.when i go to the arcades that is what i usually play.those new motion sensor shooter games are really cool too.but you got to imagine what one of those must cost.also driving games are fun.the ones with the stick shifts and steering wheels.it gives you a real driving experience.the bike gmaes where you sit on the bike are good also.console racing games just dont do it for me.

@ sui-cyco : It doesn't have to be really expensive to get those machines, there are arcade machine retailers going out of business all the time, just check around, maybe you'll get lucky just like i did.

i just finished playing madden 06 and i cant believe that passing game.why they took something and made it more complicated than it needed to be is beyond me.if you thought ncaa 06 passing game was retarded, wait til you play madden 06.i guess when you try to improve on a game you can run the risk of making it worse.the running game and defense plays better but that is because they didnt change it that dramatically.i mean passing on that game is like patting your head and rubbing your stomach while reciting a tongue twister.too much stuff going on just to complete a simple pass.i havent thrown for over 150 yds or a touchdown yet.there are interceptions galore.maybe it will take some time to get use to this passing game, but until then im racking up the rushing yards.

At one time i really looked into buying a few arcade machines for my garage but they're extremely hard to find locally and shipping will kill you if you find one out of area. I really love the old arcade classics (galaga) but would really love to have a newer racing sim arcade machine. I haven't played madden '06 yet but heard the same thing from someone else about the passing game. Has anyone tried out Call of Duty Finest Hour?

I know it's old but I'm a real big fan of COmmand & COnquer Generals. Modding that game is good for the creative part of the brain.

What y'all think Battlefield Modern Combat will be like on PS2 and xbox? Screenshots look good but they can sometimes be deceiving. I dont think it will be as good as the pc version, but should be ok all the same.

has anybody played shadow of colossus?i recently seen an ad for it and understand it is already out in stores.it looks real interesting and i would like to know what it is about and how the gameplay is.

also has anybody played the warriors?ive been on hiatus recooperating from eye surgery and have fallen behind on things.

i have played a little of x-men legends 2 and that game is just as good as the first one.i havent been able to play as much as i wanted to(got a little playtime before surgery)but i should be back to playing shortly.

I'm in the middle of playing three different games on my pc at the moment.

    Sniper Elite which is ok.

Quake 4 which is very much like Doom3 but still very enjoyable.

F.E.A.R. This is my favourite of the three and the one which I'll probably finish first. Can be a bit scary though!!!
And don't believe all that crap about needing 2Gig of Ram and a million dollar graphics card to play it. It plays very smoothly on my machine.

yeah,it kinda came out of nowhere with no attempt to hype it up.but i just got a game magazine today that had a centerfold ad of it.there was no review of the game as it probably was reveiwed in an earlier issue.i have to go looking for old issues to see if i can find the reveiw.but in the meantime,i would like to get info from people that have actually played the game.

I played the demo for it ,it was ok,It looks like a pc or xbox game its pretty looking but there wasent much to do ,The demo was small
From what I here you just search for these 13 giants on your horse
and kill(sword and arrows) them to bring your girl back to life(not my kinda game)you hold your sword up and the light shows you were they are and there week spots then you climb up them and stab them 50 times

I say metal gear 3 is the best that i played

I just got online and I lost my job do to socom 1 and 2
and cant stop the killing I been pulling all niters all week.
Socom 3 is terrible online just terrible
theres so many games I never have time to play half of them
I justwanna add why do some many people like final fanasty?
I hate them games I dont wanna use math while im playing a game!
You take two steps across the map and your in a battle every min then you just stand there and castspells and crap.
I seen people deep into these games and they are very pretty looking but whats the big deal

And GT how can then call them sim games when you cant even smash your car?whats up with that, I liked flatout

games need more blood and gore
    well to each his own

I want a game like gta and sims but with 100 times more detail and of my city,
what i mean is just want real life but in a game real names, address, streets, everyone looks differnt, peoples cars
that way I can play out real life bank robberys before I do it. etc.
you know what I mean It will never happen but its my dream.
They would have to violate everyones privacy to make a game like this.Maybe they could also link it to a space satalite that takes pics of the city and show real life -AI-movment

thanks for the input on the game.the demo might not have been the good part of the game.i just read a reveiw on the game and it received a 8.75 rating out of a possible 10.its the game informer mag and they are usually right on with their ratings.by the way resident evil 4 received a 10 rating.whats up with that game getting a perfect rating?the only other games they gave a 10 rating to is god of war and gta san andreas.

by the way,if you want a game with alot of blood try shadow of rome(one of my all time favorites).you can chop peoples arms and heads off.blood gushes everywhere.it has alot of gladiator fighting in it.
