OK, this is hard work, you are typing in text type phonetics, which makes it [bold]very[/bold] difficult to read! That is [bold]not[/bold] helping matters, I have to read it 3 or 4 times in order for me to understand. So I will go out on a limb & [bold]guess[/bold] that you wish to free up some space? Yes? Pressing F10 will not really do this, your friend appears to know very little about PCs... You must have your XP disc & serial number if you wish to reformat. If you reformat you will lose all your info. If you [bold]just[/bold] wish to free up space, you may just need to delete some of your files/progs that you are not using or need. I take it you have never de-fragged or done a disc clean up? Please type properly in your replies, otherwise I will rapidly lose interest in helping. PS, I have never used Norton Ghost, I always just do a complete re-fromat & start again, I use my zip drive to keep all my piccys, music etc.
