Problem backing Halo 2 onto my HDD

    Probably the static IP. The same happened to me after I installed my softmod, I had to turn off static IP. Set it to static, then go to the microsoft dashboard (eject=retail mode) then make go to settings, and make sure they are all set to [bold]automatic[/bold].

    Thanks for the suggestions, but i still can't access my xbox from any ftp programs. I tried all of your suggestions, even went step by step on several "how to ftp" tutorials. I'm dumbfounded on how the connection could suddenly quit working (happened right after I attempted to play race driver 3 from the hard drive). Any other thoughts?

    Make sure your PC has ICS (Internet Connection Sharing) correctly set up.

    Hey,
    I just found this page in a google search. I am having the exact same problem with my halo backup. Can you repeat how you fixed it? I know how to FTP very well if that is needed.
