if its an iso that you started with in the first place,then why did you try and convert it? iso is dvd format bin images are for CD'S
Oh... okay... i'll try burning it onto a DVD and see if that works. I hope the size of it doesn't matter. I burnt it onto a cdr and it worked on my friend's ps2. IF iso files are dvd format, then it shoudl be no prob... but if not.... then i am confused... thanks for the reply! ^_^
Alright, i just tried burning the iso file onto a dvd and run it on my ps2 with swap magic. It does not work. I get the message of this isn't a valid ps2 disc. So i guess i need to burn it as a CDR. Since that worked on my friends' ps2. So any thing i can do to convert it? i tried your way, but it doesn't seem to work. Any suggestions? thanks for your reply!
then maybe it needs burning on a cd then...? swapmagic does boot cd's,you need to use the cd version of the boot disk
No.. it doesn't! they said i need the shark thing... but swap magic itself can't run it.. sigh... thanks for your help tho! that is all...
I know this may be a little late, and off topic, but sushi You need to burn snes station on a cd and you don't need a modchip or swap magic to play it, go here and read the tutorial, works like a charm. http://snes-station.gamebase.ca/index.htm

I can't get this method to work for me .On madagascar ps2 cd game I'm getting all kinds of errors while reading disc .I tried to read it with alcohol 120 ,isobuster, nero, cdrwin .Maybe I'm dooing something wrong.It is the first time I'm trying to backup playstation game .Never had so many problems with movies on dvd .DVD SHRINK is great for that and its free.If you have any advice...........it would be great .

I recently burned Drakenguard which was a cd version by using the program DVDscan method as well and it worked so try it out. It also worked for Torino Olympics as well.
Hi! Is there a way to place more than one CD game in a DVD, having a small menu that allows me to choose which game to boot?
I hope someone can really help me. I just got the ulitmate swap plus and I am trying to figure it out. I put the disk in and the ps2 reads it then i use the flip cover and put a original ps2 game in, then go to chang media and it will switch from detect media ps2 cd to detect media ps2 dvd, then here is when i mess up. i go up to swap magic 3.6 and it will have load program, video mode normal that is when i take out the original ps2 game and put in a burn disk and it does nothing can someone please tell me what i am doing wrong?
ill help you. after u put in the swap magic disk, you dont have to put in the original just put in the burned one, and press "load program". i have not used filp top but thats what i do with slide card.
Hey guys. I just aquired the CD version of "Sega Ages 2000 series: Hokuto no Ken (Fist of the North Star)" , which is a REALLY rare game. Now, I have the .bin and the .cue files. Can I just burn the bin file onto a quality DVD-R using DVDdecrypter, or do I have to follow the cd to dvd procedure described in the very first post of this thread??
yes u have to do the CD to DVD thing. i think if u try burning a CD game to a DVD game it will say the file can only be burned on CD's. so do the CD to DVD or burn it to a quiality CD
