My first comp was a commodore vic 20, it was pretty much just good for playing games like pong. Sticks and dots.
haha, yeah. I remember having a commodore, not really alive when Having one. so i can be concidered a REALLY young fart. but i have used one :-D. yeah. The good old Floppy B: s.... ahh.. yeah...
I owned my own Construction Co. for 36 years. In 1993 I finally decided it was time to let some-one-else pay the bills. My new boss gave me a machine-possibly older than me & said"learn how to use it" My kids showed me what it was all about. Finally I stole a windows computer from a man that left the Co. I have owned 6 new computers since ( at home ) Been retired 7 years & I love it. ps: I was in college in mid 1950's-grandpa was from Cork
I don't think I qualify for being an older person, not nearly, but I guess I qualify for an older member of aD. What got me into computers was when I got my Sega 10 years ago or so, then my playstation and I guess it built from there, I got my PC about 4 years ago and what I have learnt in that time, has been quite a bit. I remember what brought me to the site, and that was when I couldn't run the original Halo for PC, haha. -Mike
