I bought mine from "NXPgames" which is a seller on Amazon.com. They got it here in 2 days over a weekend and it cost me 60$ without memory. It's a bit steep in comparison to many other retailers, but it had great shipping and got here in a box (NOT an envelope) in perfect condition with the official parts completely intact.

-Why is New Zealand so slow on EVERYTHING? D: -

I know what you mean, stock's are low.
    I bought my R4DS V2 from Craigslist, I paid £39.99 which included a 1GB Micro SD card.
This seller has them in stock and you can even collect yourself if you live local (Surrey), mine was delivered 24hrs after payment.
Here is the link for this seller:

Placed an order with deal extreme 3/01/08 and they're unable to procure from supplier. To be fair to them they're pretty quick at answering queries and did complete a full refund when asked.

on the bad side the item showed as sourced and being processed on the order page.

i ordered mine off of dealextreme as aforementioned but they can't ship cause they ran out of the chinese versions as well. when i purchased it they said they were in stock. so now i'm waiting for them to return my money and then i'm going to get one from gameyeeeah.com, they are the cheapest next to dealextreme. hopefully this time it'll will go through.

gameyeeeah.com seems legit but prepared to wait some time especially if you choose standard shipping. Expedited shipping is indeed quick (only takes 2-3 days after it's shipped out) but ridiculously priced @ $20.

Looking at their forums, it seems entirely normal for it to take 2 weeks JUST for them to ship out. Reason being things that the website says are "in stock" might actually be on backorder. Then their standard shipping can take another 10-16 days so total wait time can be a month or longer.

I ordered through them since they were the only place I could get an R4 for under $40 but if you're not willing to wait that long, you might want to check EchoStore or Amazon.

I ended up buying from supercardstore.com for £32.55. Great service, I was emailed on Thursday to say they had them back in stock, ordered that evening (8pm) and it arrived on Saturday morning.

I ordered mine from dealextreme right before they ran into their shortage. It took me about 6 weeks from when I ordered it to when I recieved it. I would order from them again when they are back in stock, the shipping delay was caused by the manufacturer.

This may be slightly off-topic, but I'm looking for a memory expansion pack to use together with my R4DS, in particular so I can use the NDS Opera browser. I've seen quite a bit of info on the EZ Flash V 3 in 1 Expansion pack, does this work ok with the R4DS and is it straight forward to get working (i.e. just plug in and go)?

AddictSupplies.com are selling this for £13.99 which seems a good price.

Sorry, another question. In terms of MicroSD cards for the R4DS are there any recommendations? I've seen posts/details on the 2GB Kingston micro SD Japan, is there something different between the Japan version and other country variants of this? It's pretty easy to get hold of the 2GB Kingston micro SD for around £10 inc shipping but it seems the Japan version is more expensive, is there any reason for this or would any version of this card be ok? Thanks

I use the EZ Flash and it works fine. I don't recall having to do anything other than plug it in.
