I need help! I have been trying to rip The Break-Up and Click all day. I couldn't do it with DVD shrink the way I normally do so i downloaded RipIt4Me and FixVTS. I followed all the instructions in this forum and it works fine until a few minutes into DVD decrypter the read rate goes to 0(zero) when it is working in VTS_01_1.IFO and after about 20 minutes of no progress what so ever I abort and restart. I have tried both 1-click and wizard mode. Please let me know what I am missing. Are these DVD's just too protected?? Or am I being too impatient, will it eventually start back up? Frustrated!
spdvd1882 , are the DVDs in good shape? not scratched up? if there aren't try using clonedvd 2 + anydvd ,this combo will do the movies fine , theres a free 21 day trial, download here http://www.slysoft.com/en/ and a guide http://bbmayo.home.comcast.net/ remember to use good blank media (Taiyo Yuden and or Verbatim) and don't burn above 8x
Thanks for the help. The DVD's are in fine shape, no scratches. I will try those 2 programs and let you know how it goes.
@spdvd1882 - bearing in mind this is a ripit4me guide/thread, for me The Break-Up needed DVDFab Decrypter 3.0.3.7 Beta as 3.0.3.5 couldn't do it without causing DVD Shrink to crap out.
Help! When I try to start Rip it 4 Me to burn a disc, I am getting the message "trapped on Auto Play message" how do I fix this??
I tried that, still getting the message. I burned a disc yesterday and had to leave, leaving the finished disc in the burner which I guess it was trying to run the burned disc. Now today when I try to use Rip It 4 ME, it will say it is finding out the disc info, then decrypter says waiting for drive to be ready and the log on rip it 4 me says about the auto play. What am I doing wrong?
Have you tried disabling autoplay for that drive in EXPLORER? Right click on your drive and choose PROPERTIES. Then on the AUTOPLAY tab you can choose to TAKE NO ACTION. You will have to do this for all the choices listed that you don't want to run when you insert a disc.
I changed to take no action, nothing changed. It has got to have something to do with the disc I left in there. I have been burning just fine for a few months now until I left that disc in there. Here is what the entire log in rip it 4 me says: Wizard Step 1 NOTE: Trapped on Auto Play message! This prevents autorun.inf from running automatically Action cancelled Obviously by leaving the backed up disc in the drive, it was trying to start it up and play it, but somehow got stuck??
It should be version 1.5.7.0. There should be a file called DebugLog.txt. Can you post it. You might have another program running in the background that has a hold on that drive.
I checked it and it is version 1.5.7.0. It was the fix that was the 1.6.0.0. Here is what the Debug file says: I 12:04:21: Wizard Step 1 I 12:04:45: NOTE: Trapped OnAutoPlay message! This prevents any Autorun.inf from running automatically. I 12:04:47: Canceled I 12:04:47: Done at 12:04:47 I 12:04:47: Elapsed time: 00:00:26
Go to: C:\Documents and Settings\Your Name\Application Data\RipIt4Me. Delete everything in that folder and reboot.
