Damnit, why is that my school is the most bloody resticted?. You can't open any exe- cant search for help files- only get 10mb account limit- can't even go to google!!! OK this will explain how to get passed any school firewall by using proxy tunneling. You will be able to access any site you want. It will require downloading 2 programs but no worries its quite simple... Download and install these programs 1) Your-freedom (www.your-freedom.net) i recomend the installer with the jre included unless you know the jre is allready installed 2) FireFox (www.getfirefox.com) 3) CProcess (www.nirsoft.net/utils/cprocess.html) OPTIONAL...used to close any programs running on your computer that are used to monitor what you're doing...(I close all processes except for explorer.exe) NOTE you may not have proper permissions to install your-freedom so install it at home on a flash drive and it can be run from there, if your school blocks flash drives then drop those files in a zip and upload to a free web host and just download it from school and extract... Same thing can be done for Firefox and cProcess ok, you'll need an account for your-freedom to work...So go to www.your-freedom.com and make an account you'll need email to confirm the account (this will most likely have to be done at home) ALMOST DONE... now figure out your schools proxy address (ex. mine is url.<school district>.k12.<state>.us:8002) now would be a good time to open up cprocess and kill all the sneaky little processes such as ssoclient.exe(used at my school) now open up your-freedom and run click configure and run the wizard put in all the information required and click start. now in Firefox goto tools>options and in the "general" tab goto connection settings and type in localhost port 8080... check the "use same proxy for all protocols" box then ok..ok.. If everything has worked out for you... you will be able to access ANY website you want and do anything you want through port 80 such as your email or... lame myspace -_- the ONLY bad thing about this is that it IS kinda slow because you're limited to 64 Kb/s but oh well you're free for free...(you can pay for a faster account if you want) Hope this works for you people... later (my school has gotten smart and blocked the connection to the your-freedom servers so don't abuse it, or they will notice a lot of network traffic to those servers and block connections) ~el3v3nty
My school the computers want let you get passed the installer for a new program. It says to get administrator rights to install any programs.
