Shy Channels on sat with dreambox 500s

ok, its an internal network.as piopat says u need a fline for each share on primary server box. the config is really simple

server cccam.cfg

SERVER LISTEN PORT : 12000
SMARTCARD CLOCK FREQUENCY : /dev/sci0 3430000
BOXKEY : /dev/sci0 XX XX XX XX
F: user1 pass1 3 1 1 { 0:0:3 }
F: user2 pass2 3 1 1 { 0:0:3 }
F: user3 pass3 3 1 1 { 0:0:3 }
so thats the server box with the card in it

client 1 cccam.cfg
if this is an internal share all ips are simiar
SERVER LISTEN PORT : 12000
c: 12000 192.168.x.x user1 pass1 no
client 2 ccam.cfg
SERVER LISTEN PORT : 12000
c: 12000 192.168.x.x user2 pass2 no
client 3 ccam.cfg
SERVER LISTEN PORT : 12000
c: 12000 192.168.x.x user3 pass3 no
and thats it. not all that hard

 

balcee did you set cccam as your default cam ,if you did that with the card in the box you should atleast have all the basic package such as gold and bravo etc ,then you can enter the boxkey in to cccam .cfg and that will open the sports and movies if you have them .on my box i press the blue button and set the default cam to cccam 2.1.3 and the press ok and exit back to the tv channels .go to a scrambled channel wait a few second and on screen should say something like cccam 2.1.3 starting please wait (if you see that then you have channels ).

 

Cheers fin. I checked all that and pleased to say that's what I did. The only difference was my cccam file was v2.1.4 (shouldn't matter should it?) as you said I get the please wait message but still black screen. Just testing it on dave.

What about the sly card - do I need to be subscribing to at least the basic package in order for this to work?

 

Thanks a million lads, it was the different usernames and passwords thingy that got me.

Wiped em all again and set them up with 28.2 now all I need to do is figure out how to upload the bouquet I got from the other fourm.

balcee your card is active is it ? ,if its not then of course you cant view any channels ,if your card is switched off try and get a free test c line and enter it in to cccam ,then you can see if your system is setup ok .

 

balcee did you manage to get any further with your system ,how about you gary did you solve the problem you had.

 

Ya I solved my problem using the multiple user names and passwords.

Tried adding a bouquet last night, unfortunately that didn't work, kept saying service not available for any of the channels even though I was on satellite 28.2??

Only reason I'm doing this is to sort out my last problem, missing setanta Ireland for some reason?

 

gary i dont think you get setanta ireland from a uk card so if your cline is from a uk card setanta ireland wont be available .if you got a share from someone with an irish card who is paying for setanta you would get it and also the rte and tv3 channels.

 

I'm only sharing the card locally and that has the setanta subscription. My problem is that setanta won't tune in when I am configuring the box. I was guessing that setanta might be on a different satelite but I wouldn't know.

i dont pay for those channels but they are there on screen (they are scrambled )the frequency for both is 11.488 vertical 27500 fec says 0/1 which is strange . a question gary my box is a dm7020 and even tho i have sly3 on the channel list and i can choose it ,it wont open just wondering if you had any problems with channels like that tcm2 is doing likewise (i know they work as i checked them on the sly box)also i share with a mate who has a dm500s and he cant view these channels either but he also cant view 3e. just wondering if your setanta problem is the same thing as my problem. i know that sly sports etc have 3 or 4 channels each and only one of the 4 works but atleast the one works .

 

Well I had that issue with channel 4, it was on the list but there was no picture or sound on the channel. Then I chose a different satellite and I got that one.

I don't have 3e or a few more (True movies for the mother)

It's very strange

I have the multiple sly sports too.

I'm just wondering is there yet another satellite I should be choosing as the sky box in the living room has all of them.

This might have something to do with the fact the UK bouquet still isn't working too??

 

you may be missing some frequencies in your frequencies list in your box , try here its a list of all frequencies and the channels on them http://flysat.com/28east.php .to check what frequencies you have in your box press menu then press 6 (setup) now choose service searching ,now choose transponder edit , you should see astra/eurobird 28.2 highlighted in red and to the right of that all the frequencies currently stored in your box .press the right arrow button on the remote once ,you will now see add highlighted in red ,now you use the down arrow button and scroll down the page and check that all the frequencies in thee box match the ones on flysat ,if you see one or freguencies missing in the box simply press ok and put in the frequency details and press green button to save .carry on that way untill your sure you have all the frequencies and press exit you will be asked if you want to save the changes say yes ,nowgo to automatic transponder search and scan . hopefully all the missing channels will appear .

 

Savage!!! I'll give that a go when I get home. Hopefully do the trick!!! That was the other thought that maybe my search range wasn't big enough or something?

 

Have the F line as F: **** **** { 0:0:2 } on Box 1

Hop 3 is bad for sharing - 2 is fine.

The F line is solely for the box ( box 1) which is sharing the card/share to the second box - which only needs the C line entered.

 

yea manc thats what i said the server box has to have an fline in its cccam.cfg file for each box thats sharing, the share box only needs the cline, i could have put it a little better or clearer i suppose .sorry for any confusion.

hi guy after reding up on the fourm ive now no the eurovox which ive just bought is useless so im thinking of getting dreambox and connecting to my old sky dish,could someone help me with instructions as what i need to do,to get premier sports channels,im complete newbie

 

I'm 4 years into this game & only went linux last year - So I had a good basic knowledge of Sat.

My advice is - if you don't understand basic sat I'd shy away from buying Linux until you've read up about it.

Try eurocardsharing website - read the stickies on setting up then decide if you want to go that route.
