Shy Channels on sat with dreambox 500s

What Home Network Plug does anyone reccommend when setting up the Dms500 for Cardsharing etc, to cut out unsightly yellow LAN Cable? Do any of them work or is there a certain one I should get? Thanks Folks, excellent work

 

quite a lot of home plugs for sale at very different prices so shop around, I bought 80bps from maplins for 70 euro probably cheaper now, I also got 200bps for 50 on fleabay and are working fine, so shop around.

 

I have been using netgear 85bps for nearly a year with no problems but any make will work just go for the cheapest

 

alternatively have your box totally wireless using

issue is that you need to buy an extra power supply for this unit but its still cheaper than the powerline solution. main problem is if you have clear wireless connection from this unit to your router

hi guys after a bit of advice if posable my mate just moved in to a new houses and there is one big sat dish at the end of the block that recives signal for all the houses is it posable to get a s+y box or dream box to get all the channels if so witch one would you recomend

 

not possible without internal broadband connection. after that it is not possible without full sky subscription

 

DM500s or similar connected to dish & LAN connected to router. Subs must be payed to c/s server
Sky+box connected to dish gives FTA channs or all channs with full sky subs
C/s server subs would be less than 25% of sky subs

thanks, but some servers say if you share clines then the sub will be canceled, how can you share with your mates then?

 

you can only share with ur friends if your server allows it which i doubt they will or you can set up your own share which is the better route to take

There's a guy in my area who has a dreambox 500s, he paid around 150-170 quid for the box and he said its now free, he can watch all the s*y encrypted channels. can somebody please tell me if there's way i could share the clines with him?
