Im sure some people will disagree, but +1 for your parents lol! They would have killed me if i smoked at your age, yet they had no probs with me drinking copius amounts of alcohol LOL.
I live in Southern Indiana and there charging about $3.74 give or take at the moment for Marlboro Menthol Lights. Last year it was $4.XX. Gas goes up...cigs go down..The other week I was in Chicago and they were charging like $8 a pack
WOW 8 bucks??? We have a cig for less near my house, 2 packs of Turkish Golds for 5 bucks.....before you said that i thought 2.50 a pack was a lot! LOL
Here's a map of the excise taxes for cigarettes for each state. The lower the number is, the cheaper the cigarettes are in that state.
My parents have been very lenient with me. I just came out and told them I smoked and they're like, "That's fine as long as you tell us." I have very cool parents but I guess they also know how to keep me in check. If I disrespect either of them my dad whoops my @ss.
holy crap i forgot about this thread. Djarum Blacks are the only things that reach my delicate palette now.

My dog wants his breath-freshening doggie biscuits back. Quit Smoking There is this blonde girl at work who was truly concerned about her husband's smoking. She told me that she had finally gotten him to agree to limit his smoking at home to only those times when they had finished making love. She had gotten the idea from a classic movie they had both see on TV called "Cold Turkey". After about a week, I asked her how it was going. "Well, not too bad." She said, getting up off of a pillow she had in her chair and limping towards the photocopy machine. "I've gotten him down to about a pack a night now."
I really don't like smokers. If some one I know starts smoking i lose respect for them. As for those I know that had already smoked, that would be one person and I couldn't stand being around him because he smelled horrible.
meh. if you're only a social smoker, the smell never gets bad enough that it's still around after a quick shower.
I quit in March, but I'm still doing it again. I smoke Newports. Stinky cigs to begin with. The smell never really sticks to me though. I'm 17 and I've been smoking since I was 14 or so. Newports are the first brand I've ever smoked and my current favorite. Other brands I like are Camel Menthol/Menthol Light, KOOLs, Marlboro Fulls. Being a smoker isn't so bad. I've never been avoided for my smell. I smoke with my friends a lot. We are social smokers.
i only smoke socially. a cigar every couple months and maybe a pack of cloves per month. not that bad considering i don't even drink.
I'm a half-pack a day smoker. Down from before March when I smoked more than a pack a day. I smoke the occasional cigar. Grape Blunts that are 83 cents from the mini-mart. Not great, but they're decent for a nice long smoke every couple weeks.
I don't condone tobacco smoking at all, personally I hate the stuff. Smoking weed on the other hand is an amazing virtue which everyone In my opinion should experience.
Still on the cloves then Aus?.. ain't I just a sh*t telling you about those eh? Rolling my own, local no brand navy (high tar, very strong) and clove dust.. excellent. If you're gonna die anyway why not do it in style. I'd rather kick the bucket from something I enjoy and have a choice about rather than being poisoned by vehicle fumes.
I've smoked for 21 years. Just quit cold turkey about 3 weeks ago. There's not a minute that goes by that I dont think about another cigarette. Its to the point to where it smells horrible to me now, yet I still want one. The ability to breathe out of my lungs again is exhilarating, yet I still want one. I dont cough anymore, I still want one. I can taste food again... I still want one. All I can say is, nicotine is a nasty drug that gets its grip on you and has a hard time letting go. If you smoke now, do yourself a favor and quit. If you dont smoke, good for you, keep it up. On the flip side. Living in Arizona, US. I was paying roughly $5.85/pack and I was at a pack a day. I now put that money in a jar every single day and at the end of the year I'll be buying myself something quite nice.
I also enjoy my Marijuana. I am a frequent and casual user and I think everyone should at least give it a try once. It is an amazing experience and something I will do for my entire life.
