starview 4 the box super usb few channels have gone off how to fix

or was it v1.12 the latest,not for clones.?

Is the starview 4 super still working in Ireand,Dublin?

No I used 1.10 not 1.12, i don't know if 1.12 would work or not.

 

always use the latest files

 

and where can one acquire a copy of 1.10?

 

V1.12 was brought out for a reason, to stop the firmware killing gen boxs

hi, received a new card from v----n and used old box to update as instructed 2 weeks ago in derby. have been loosing channels since ie dis----ry etc, sp--ts are still on, have 1.12 version installed, done reset,scan etc still no difference, shows channels but screen is blank, help please

had my starview 4 (thebox super usb)since august 2009 (EVERTHING OK)
december 2009 lost some channels tried everthing could not get them back...? a friend gave me some software

followed what to do and got all my channels back.
the first week in march 2010 lost my movie channels tried reloading the softwear done many scans done everthing i could think of no joy second week in march 2010 lost sports channels and a few other channels dont know what to do can anyone help........?????

No and there is no box that is immune from N3 once it goes to that game over for the boxes.

 

was told lanarkshire is going off on tuesday so be prepaired good while it lasted but keep the faith ad will come through

i dont think the new cards have been sent out so i dont think it the nagra 3 problem yet.....

 

this is what i have done up to now:
i have read everything i can find but nothing seems to be working.
this is what happend:

for the last day or so i have been getting poor quality picture on my starview the box super usb.
a friend said upgrade to v 1.12 and do a full factory reset then scan and use the 1570 secret menu and turn the keycode on.

after all this i have lost loads of channels including all movie channels , all freeview channels and lots of kids channels but i DO have sky sports 1 and some other paid for channels.

 

I also got mine working with 1.07. Cheers for the advise peeps

 

You should all factory reset, then load latest firmware to box, then rescan and turn emu on and also hit 'Default key' then turn to sly sports 1 and let it update and all should be fine then. Using previous firmware is not advisable in my opinion.

 

I agree as if you have a gen box, the older firmware will kill it eventually, but the way things are going with N3, it aint gonna matter in a few weeks anyways

 

So there is no other boxes that work with virgin? My channels have gone blank. I am running 1.12 firmware, recanned and done all the factory settings business, please help.
