see my previous answer, no fixs and yes its N3 in the south. I wouldnt go holding my breath on a fix for N3, nor will 10 hail marys or an our father work,

Until such time a fix is available, then I wouldnt consider buying one, the irish market (south anyways) is a small drop in the ocean in money terms to suppliers, this box is to combat clones (bit late in the day), which in turn, is for Starviews benefit, not mine nor yours,

now, what Starview will release very soon, may be the better option for us down south,

google wizzard sat for more info on what is coming out. But bear in mind, its not a N3 fix, but worth looking at none the less, perhaps in the future..........

Hi Guys this is my first ever post, here goes. Got a starview 5 a couple of days ago, I have a terrible buzzing noise coming through the tv speakers and the picture has a wave line going through it. Have tried all different types of scart leads, still the same. Also no signal going to my dvd recorder so cant record anything. Called the company that supplied the box and they suggest getting an attenuator to reduce the strength of the cable signal, but they couldn`t explain the dvd problem and suggested that I go onto a forum like yours, hope someone can help as the noise is driving me crazy!!!!!!! Thanks

Go to your remote and press the signal button and tell me what your signal strenght and quality is

also are you using any other boxes connected to the box ??

like is your cable running thru your cable providers box then into the starview box ??
