Just upgraded my box whilst server is down in birmingham (again) to 1.0.4 and I noticed there is no option in the network settings for NET APPLICATION to change from ustream or istream. So is this option hard coded automatically or is this software for Ireland or England..?? Thx again Guys,,
!.04 firmware is for UK only so UK-stream is preset & 8989 has no function. Some prefer 1.03 firmware as you can check all settings are correct. Others found 1.04 did not clear all channs but 1.03 did. I hope it's only your firmware needs updating & not your box. Would you believe anyone would run a server without spare cards or card readers if replacements could not be got locally
Thx again. yep seems my time maybe up after sv2 through to 7.It won't be long before there guys are charging a nominal fee for sports, moives etc.. just like the adult channels. In your opinion which hardware platform is the overall best to go with. I am a bit worried about the SV HD combo as i guess the cable side uses the same server. Would like a cable HD box that is reliable enough to part with my cash again.:-( thx for your input..
sv combo is no longer made obsolete now just like sv 1/2/3/4/5 only think if you got a second hand one you could get it on Sat
no point in doing anything its a waiting game all you can do is watch out for reports here when its back im sure it will be all over the forums
I wouldnt say so, E45 posted on what happened, the Srv was found and its been shut down, so, cant see it being back on anytime in future
Going on past history clients will be kept in the dark & you will get loads of bullsh** posts claiming they have been reliably informed it will be back in 2 days, 2 weeks, whatever. If they set up new server it will come back on, but don't be surprised if they release a new box for new server & leave SV7 owners up the creek. Hope not but we'll see
I thought that e45 said that the cards were "burnt", by that I understood it to mean damaged, and they were waiting for them to be replaced,or does the burnt hold a hidden message,perhaps e45 could enlighten us
With the k780 could this happen to there server ? Or is it jus same no guarantees, anything can happen.
@ Mick, that was the initial report, but its been reported the srv has been found and taken off line @ rob - there is no guarentees with any boxs, thats been said from day one, from the fist boxs to the lan boxs
ok thanks for the update,I could not find any mention of the server being found and closed down ,so got a bit suspicious it was aploy to get everyone onto the competition KRYPTVIEw,so sounds like it just suck it and see as e45 says see if it comes back on
I woldnt be holding out that it will if that is the case that the SRV is found and gone, will be the same as what happened in Ireland, I could be wrong, but i wouldnt be holding out much hope
